Description: The Dáil Bar and Restaurant has already become a firm favourite to both Galway residents and visitors alike with its stunning décor that is both impressive and comfortable at the same time evoking a relaxed warm atmosphere that just draws you in like your favourite local. Situated on the intersection of Middle Street and Cross St right in the heart of the city it really is a beautiful bar to visitThe Dáil is decorated in a wonderfully traditional manner with beautifully carved oak bars, feature fireplaces ,stunning staircases and many a cosy corner to while away an evening. The downstairs bar has a warm inviting local pub feel where you can relax and enjoy your favourite drink in a comfortable environment, chat to friends, and get to know the friendly bartender or just absorb the atmosphere and many hidden features that the bar has to find! The Dáil is also a restaurant serving top class food at Pocket friendly prices all day everyday. The varied and enticing menu really does go above and beyond a traditional pub menu.

“Great pub for food and a 'beverage'.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2012

On a recent trip to Galway, we heard about the Dáil Bar from a taxi driver, so we decided it was worth a visit. The evening was cold and damp and when we entered we were greeted by two gorgeous open fires. The place had a lovely 'buzz' about it - not too crowded at that time of evening. Having been greeted by a most pleasant barman - we later discovered that he was one of the managers - we were served our drinks.
Looking at their menu, we found it to be refreshingly creative and very good value for money.
Our favourite option on the menu was a section for those people who find it difficult to make up their minds as to what they would like to eat. - this section offered a 'tasting menu' of 4 or 5 'tapas-size' dishes from the menu, two galsses of wine, and all for €14.95 IN TOTAL.
I think this shows real thought in their menu and at that price, is difficult to beat>
I will certainly revisit the Dáil Bar on my next trip to Galway. The warm atmosphere and customer service is second to none.
To those of you who read this and decide to drop in - Enjoy!

“Perfect location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2012

Spent a beautiful evening here with my husband during a well needed midweek break in Galway. The food was superb, the service was flawless and the evening entertainment was in tune with the athmosphere. I havent experienced such comfortable surroundings in a long time. Thank you Dail Bar.
