I have eaten here in the Bar in The Westwood on numerous occasions as I was studying nearby. I really don't have anything positive to say about the place. Every time I ate here there was some sort of drama.
One day the girl at the carvery till took off to help a lady with her tray who had a buggy and I was left standing for absolutely ages waiting to pay, when I sat down my food was cold.
Another day I ordered and recieved my own food from the carvery and at the till I ordered my friends food which had to be ordered from the kitchen so she left me standing there with my food again going cold while she ran to the kitchen to order.
Another day they forgot half our order and had to ask for it again.
Another day I was paying by laser card and was left at the carvery till again while she went to fetch the laser machine, after i entered my pin number it would not print my receipt so I asked could I sit and start eating and she would drop the receipt down to me when she got it working. Another girl eventually came back with my card and tried to charge me again. I had to explain that I already paid.
Why did I keep going back, because It was the only place near and only had short lunch breaks and thought each time was a blip and it couldn't happen again. The staff serving the food in the bar are clueless in my opinion. I have worked many years in the Catering industry and have never come across such unprofessional service.
One last point I have never tasted gravy so artificial in my life, very greasy aftertaste.
Thankfully my studies are complete and I don't have to go back here again.
