“Nice Little Place”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 16, 2014

Had lunch here with my son and it was a nice little place. I had the smoked salmon and it was really good especially with brown bread, but the salad was so so......might go back but there are so many choices on Galway, maybe not.

“Big Thank you - great food, best service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 3, 2014

We ate at this restaurant just last month, we enjoyed so much that we went there again this evening. Our favorite dish is home made lasagna, it comes with salad and chips (fries). We also order Special of the day - Guinness Irish beef stew, it comes with 2 steam vegetables, mash potato and boil potato. As usual, food is very tasty, service is fast and friendly.

This is a very cozy restaurant, makes me feel we are in a very special private club. We had a chat with the lady who served us.

BTW there is candle light on the table.

“very dissapointed”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2014

We visited this place 8 years ago and, that time, the experience was more than good. My boyfriend has alway remebered the delicious Irish stew that he ate there. So, when we decided to go back to Galway this year, we knew that we would go back to Riordans. But I must say, that the experience wasn´t as the first one at all. First, the waitress was very rude to us... I think she didn´t like that we didn´t want to eat outside, so she had to bring us upstairs. I can understand that this might be a complication for her, but it was cold to eat outside, i am sorry. I don´t think that this is a reason for being rude and forgetting about us upstairs. Second, the food wasn´t good at all and, of course, the Irish stew has nothing to see with the one of 8 years ago. The only good thing is that it is a cheap place.

As I have said, this was a special place for us and had wonderful memories of it. But, seeing this,I don´t think we will ever go back again.
