During the one night we stayed here I couldn't wait to leave. Our room was at the back of the house in a sort of shally. It was tiny. The bathroom was literally the width of the shower, a small shower at that. The outside was unkept with rubbish and bits and pieces lying around. It felt more like a hostel posing as a b+b. Breakfast was basic, and the room smelled funny. There was a jacuzzi at the back which kinda made it feel sleezy.The only nice part was the host seemd friendly and helpful. While a good location, there are loads of B+Bs on college road and i'm positive you could get a better deal.

Nice B&B very friendly staff and very helpful.
Breakfast is very nice and the breakfast room is open and bright.
The rooms are on the samll size and the bathroms are small.
The hotel is a 5min walk to shopping and dinning.

We recently spent two nights in this clean and cosy b&b in Galway and had a lovely time.
Amber Lodge is in College Road, a quiet road just 10 minutes walk from Galway train and bus station and from the city centre. Rooms were ok, all ensuite with TV and breakfast facilities. The full Irish breakfast is served in a large room and is really abundant and delicious!
I would definitely recommend this B&B!
