“Gem of a restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2014

I am a regular visitor to Kinara and I keep promising myself I will write a review on trip advisor because it is such a good restaurant and they deserve an acknowledgement for what they do.
Fans of indian food will love it.
Food is always fresh and appropriatly spiced and staff will always make adjustments to dishes if you wish.
No matter when I go( there being a divil and not always making a reservation) the staff will always provide a table and make you feel welcome .
Staff are cheerful, polite and the service is excellent without being obtrusive.
The early bird menu is excellent value and the surrounding clontarf scenery is always an added bonus.
Well done to all at Kinara keep up the good work.

“Great place, great food...!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2014

We went to this restaurant on our Anniversary and were not disappointed. The restaurant has a great location with the sea front and parking is easy to find. The staff and the setting is very pleasant. We ordered Makhanwala Murghi, Begar Bahar, Daal and naan and the staff even customized a paneer dish to provide makhanwala paneer which was not on the menu. As the restaurant was full, the service took some time but it was overall great. We felt selection of deserts was limited as most of the deserts are continental. However a great experience and we will definitely recommend this place for Indian food.

“Excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2014

If you want to experience authentic Eastern cuisine at its very best then visit this place, I have dined here for several years and have never been disappointed. Every dish is assembled with imagination and always manages to balance the most wonderful array of fresh spices that you know you can never reproduce at home. Amazing food! A seismic cut above the usual high street Indian curry house. If you can get a window seat looking over the bay - heaven.

“Always good, fantastic setting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2014

I've eaten in Kinara a number of times over the years and most recently last weekend. They make the best Pakistani food in Dublin. We tried the talapia, garlic shrimp, chicken bhuna and beef korma on our most recent visit. All were excellent. Pappadums, chutney, naan all very good. Staff are always pleasant and the setting by the seafront is fantastic. Ask to sit upstairs by the window. Strongly recommend.

“By far the best and most consistently outstanding restaurant in Dublin”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2014

We have had many meals in this restaurant, and have never been disappointed. I was concerned there is no children menu, but they were happy to make dish suitable and as requested by my son age 7. He was very happy with his meal too, rare for him.

Sunday lunch is great value, without compromising with the quality of the food.

Nehari Gosht is probably my favorite meal I had in any restaurant (if you can handle hot food), but all other options are good too. The quality of products are good, spices combinations unique without being overpowering. Staff is attentive without being too much - there are there if you need them, and not more then that. We just now when we go there that we are in for a treat!

Perfection, highly recommended
