“Gorgeous place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

Forever a favourite. I've celebrated every major occasion in my life here since I was 13! I cannot fault it, great staff and wonderful food. They also do fab mojitos, can't think of anywhere I've had a better one! Delish.

Can't say enough about Kinara. Recently redecorated, staff are always lovely friendly and helpful. Lovely new bar to have pre/post dinner drinks, food is always good, early bird is great value. Already booked to go back!

“Gorgeous Food, Great Early Bird too”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2013

I've been to this place quite a few times and the food has been lovely on every occasion. It is neccessary to book at the weekends as it can be quite busy sometimes, the full evening menu is a little pricey but in my opinion well worth it. They also have a great early bird menu Mon-Thurs (or at least they did when I was there last). There is not as much choice on the early bird menu but still enough for most tastes and the standard remains the same as the later menu even though the price is significantly lower. The staff are also very friendly and the service is very good.

“Excellent food and relaxed surroundings”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2013

Kinara seems to offer a mixture of Pakistani/Indian food and it really is excellent. Everything from the Naan breads through to the curry sauces is tasty and fresh.

The small bar they have downstairs whilst you wait for your table is a nice touch, too. The atmosphere is relaxed, which makes Kinara a nice getaway from the busier city-centre restaurants. The service is generally good, but we have had one waitress who rushed us a bit.

Overall an excellent restaurant, and the best curry I've had in Dublin. I'll visit again soon.

Tourists - Kinara is in Clontarf (10 minutes drive from the city centre) but it's well worth getting a cab out too. You won't be disappointed.

Price-wise you'll pay a slight premium over other Indian/Pakistani restaurants but believe me its worth it. My only problem with Kinara is they don't do takeaway/delivery - if they did I'd get one twice a week!
