“Never disappointed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2014

I've been visiting the Millstone on occasion since it opened which must be nearly ten years by now. Never been disappointed, I love the atmosphere, the fresh food and the extensive gluten free menu.

“Good atmosphere, great food (Gluten free!)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2014

Although we were the only other couple in the whole restaurant (Sunday night, weekend after new years, when the city is rather dead). It was a cozy spot. Didn't feel exposed from the lack of other customers, although the place seemed rather big, had great service, sadly we got there too late to really hear the live music that they have (every night?). I'd definitely go again, especially because they had a gluten free menu!

“Brilliant!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2014

Walked pass the milestone on Chrismas week and the smell that came out of it just pulled us in. Meal was great, early bird is great value. Went again a second time with friends and ordered from the set menu, a bit more expensive but for the quality and amount of food you get it's still great value. Service is great and the athmosphere with a man on the piano is great for a romantic dinner.

“Don't pass this out”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2014

Absolutely fab little restaurant located on the busy Dame Street. They do an excellent lunch/brunch deal however I have only eaten here in the evening. The mushroom pate served in a portobello mushroom is absolutely divine. The Wellington is delicious. I have to go back again to sample more! There's also some music there in the evenings which really adds to the ambience. Very reasonable pricing for such tasty food.

“Superb Service and Wonderful Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2014

Went to the Millstone on New Years Eve and have to say had a beautiful meal. From the moment we walked in the door to the time we left the service was truly superb even though the restaurant was full. We had our starter and there was sufficient time to digest it before the main course came along. I had the Fillet steak which was lovely and tender and my wife had the trio of Lamb which was also gorgeous. We shared sides of mixed Veggies and Chips which was more than enough. We shared a selection of deserts and had Coffee and a Bottle of wine and the bill came to 100 Euro which on New Years Eve was excellent value considering some restaurants only had special menus starting at 50 Euro per head. I would have ho hesitation in recommending this restaurant and will be back sooner rather than later.
