“Great steak, great bee”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2012

One of the best steak houses in Dublin, with a vast selection of beer from ireland breweries. Live music nearly every night.

“excellent pub”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2012

i think it's one of the most beautiful pub in the city center. they serve their own beer and you can taste among different kind of beers, stout, ale and lager too. if u want to taste something intresting you should try the sample trial, one of each category (3 beers) in a glass for only 5 euros.
usually you find live music in the evening. Very nice and relaxed atmosphere.

“Great Food and Beer”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 23, 2012

Portehouse Central in Temple Bar is a must-go-to. It's larger than the standard pubs, but doesn't feel touristy. Lots of old, dark wood around the place to keep it cozy. Service was very good, and the fish and chips were excellent. Prices were in line with other restaurants in the area.
Porterhouse offers too many beers to name, so if you can't decide, go for the sampler: smaller glasses of six different kinds of beer that the customer chooses. Great way to get a taste of great microbrew beer.

“A great pub!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2012

Loved the beer, the food and the atmosphere. Went here a few times during our stay in Dublin. Every time we had good service, even when the bar was crazy busy with pub crawls going through. The staff were all very friendly and we enjoyed talking to them throughout our visits. The beer is fantastic - we enjoyed the sample platter option to try different types in smaller quantities. The food was what you would expect of pub food, but a bit more delicious than you would think! Definitely worth checking out a time, or two!

“Great Beers”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 16, 2012

The Porterhouse is an interesting place to visit and you can taste quite a range of the more exclusive beers. When you're tired of the regular branded beers this is the pub for you. Very conveniently situated in the city.
