Description: Just off of St Stephen's Green One Pico is one of Dublin's hottest dining destinations. But with acclaimed chef Eammon O'Reilly at the helm and a number of accolades including; "2010 Dublin Chef of The Year" by The Irish Restaurant Awards, but most importantly (in our opinion) a Toptable Gold award. One Pico isn't all about fashion and being seen in the latest hot spot. Exceptionally good service is the ideal accompaniment to stunning modern classic food all beautifully prepared on the premises and a simple, sophisticated décor where intimacy is guaranteed. A monthly changing menu ensures you'll never grow bored of One Pico's impressive seasonal cooking with its homely Irish twist.

“Delicious high quality food at affordable prices - lovely lunch experience.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2013

I visited one Pico with some clients on the 30th of May 2013. I hadn't been in while. The room is much nicer than I remember, i think there must have been a spruce up in the not too distant past. The staff were very welcoming and professional. I liked the fact that they mentioned "jug of water" rather than the usual opening gambit of "sitll or sparkling"; that just drives me mad. So it was a good start. A lovely choice of 5 styles of fresh bread was offered - always a good sign. I had double helpings. Click on this link to see the beautiful choices on the set menu for lunch www.onepico.com/lunch.php - I had the Beetroot and cheese starter and the Atlantic Cod main course. Great attention to detail and wonderful flavours. I'm really looking forward to going back. The restaurant is suitable for luxurious business lunches, a chat with a friend or a nice meal with your wife/partner. It would not really be for young children but I'm sure sophisticated young paletes of 7 years or older would enjoy the experience too.(but they would need to stay in their chair!)

“EXCELLENT AFFORDABLE GOURMET LUNCH”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2013

Went for lunch at the weekend and it was fabulous. The lunch menu, 3 courses for 2 or 3 courses was excellent with plenty of choice.
I opted for the fois gras with toasted brioche for starter followed by the pork belly with scallops for mains, finished off with a dulce de leche panna cotta.
Everything was absolutely top notch. The fois gras portion was big as were the two slices of brioche. The pork belly accompanied by three perfectly cooked scallops and various other savouries was wonderful and so tasty! The dessert, served in a whisky type glass, was just ok.

My partner had the ham and black pudding terrine, followed by the beef cooked a couple of way and again, everything was excellent and full of flavour.

I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant if you’d like a gourmet lunch that won’t break the bank.

“Exquisite Meal!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2013 via mobile

We had a fabulous dinner at One Pico. The restaurant is open seven days per week so you can have this wonderful dining experience any day of the week. To start we had the langoustine risotto which was superb and the black pepper beef carpaccio was paper thin and delicious. We both had the pork belly entree which was beautifully presented and terrific-crispy on the outside and "pull part with your fork" tender. The desserts were beautiful to look at and divine to eat! One Pico is on a side street off Kildare Street-truly a gem!

“Superb Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 18, 2013

Have eaten in One Pico on a number of occasions and it never disappoints. The most recent visit was outstanding. Started with the quail followed which was petite but intricate in flavour and perfectly cooked. Starter followed by a cleansing mango and passion fruit amuse bouche, again really good. I had the assorted pork for main and for quite a bland meat the dish produced was bursting with flavour, diverse and the combinations on the plate all worked. Probably the finest pork dish I have ever eaten. For dessert I had the strawberry and white chocolate which was light and delicious after a sizeable main. All my fiances dishes were equally beautiful but the chocolate fondant deserves special mention, silky perfection not overpowering in cocoa content, an amazing dessert. Wines Bordeaux Superier and NZ ku ku, which complimented the courses well. Petit Fours Tea/Coffees and four delightfully languishing hours later we left having dined in a top class restaurant reminiscent of a gem one might find in Paris or Bordeaux. Staff professional, knowledgeable and extremely nice whilst knowing their boundaries. If you appreciate fine food, subtle flavours, sublime service and soothing 20's music then One Pico is a must. Well done to One Pico

“Currently the best restaurant in Dublin”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2013 via mobile

From the greeting to the bill, everything in this fine dining establishment is simply all round - and taken together - the best expereince in Dublin right now. I am a business luncher in One Pico. Everyone I have intoduced has returned. The lunch menu is simply excellent quality and value. The wine list bespeaks an extensive knowledge and multiple suppliers/importers. So the staff know their wines.
All round congrats - keep it up, especially from the guys in the kitchen. Thank you.
