Went for a surprise birthday party. Very good food. Started with selection of starters. Specially paneer tikka was so nice. In mains good veg and non veg selection.Lamb lalmaas was very tender and good balanced flavours in it. And in sweet just perfect home made fresh cream cake and kulfi... Just couldn't stop for second serving..

“One of the Best Indian Meal I have ever tried”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2013

Hi,

I visited there and it was surprisingly a new place. It's the old one Punjab Balti. The renovation has completely changed the restaurant look. It is now punjabi by nature. Its has more energetic and fabulous ambiance now. I go often and it exceeded my expectation this time. Although it was a bit crowded even on Monday but we got the place ASAP. I ordered lamb and it was great taste.

Thanks

“Well worth a visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2013

Pleasant venue with Indian background music to set the mood. Staff excellent. Food well presented and tasty. Well patronised even early on a Thursday evening when we went. You might need to book at weekends. Extensive and interesting take away menu.

“A fine and delicious twist on Indian food.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2013

A friend secured a voucher for us to attend this restaurant on a recent visit to Dublin. This is a fine restaurant, just recently re-opened under new management (replacing the Punjab Balti-I think). It is worthy of a visit to try delicious indian food with a slight twist of westernisation. The staff were all friendly and accommodating, and the restaurant has a nice cosy yet modern decor. While we were there, there was a pleasant buzz of happy content conversation from the other dinner guests that added to the experience. I think this is a reflection of the staff and atmosphere that they create. The food was outstanding, and while clearly based on regular indian dishes there were variations in the flavour, produce, presentation and accompaniments that separated it from regular indian food offerings. I had beef 95, followed by a lamb sag, while my friend had the scallop starter and a Thali (mixture of lots of little dishes). Neither of us drank alcohol, but we enjoyed Lassi, effectively milk shakes, mine sweet and his slightly salty that are a perfect balance to spicy food. So all in all we enjoyed a very pleasant meal of outstanding and creative indian cuisine and I happily recommend this restaurant to you.
