“Central location, with fantastic staff and spotless accommodation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 days ago NEW

Stayed here with my family, staff were really friendly, hotel was spotless in every area. Because we arrived late we eat in the hotel restaurant and the food was excellent and really nice! Guinness brown bread at breakfast is addictive! Will be back in the New Year!

As first time visitors to Ireland we were not looking to spend a lot of time in a hotel room. We booked through a package that gave us a handful of options in Dublin. This was our choice and it turned out to be a good one. While the rooms are small, they are clean and quiet and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised to find our room ready when we arrived straight from the airport after an overnight flight. How great to immediately be able to unpack, shower and take a rest before hitting the town to explore!

There is a hop on/hop off bus route a block and a half from the hotel, which proved very convenient. Breakfast was not included, but you could purchase a deal from the hotel if you bought it the night before. The front desk was knowledgeable and helpful about places to go and how to get there and getting taxis for us when necessary. All in all a very good experience.

I stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The shower was strong and hot. And most importantly, the staff were wonderful, especially Stefano who took care of my concerns when I had to change rooms because a friend is coming to visit me in Dublin.. My husband arrived on the third night and he also liked the hotel.

We found a good deal for this hotel online and as we were going to be in the city for a concert in the 3Arena, we were really happy!
The room, despite being small in floor space, was good. The bed was comfy, the sheets were clean, the shower was hot.
The only negatives I have was that I would have liked if there was another towel for the bathroom.

If you are staying in Dublin, be careful if hoping to ask the hotel to book you a taxi. We waiting 20 minutes before realising that one wasn't going to arrive for quite some time so we attempted to find one on the streets.

We booked the Maldron after checking hotels within walking distance of the city centre. We were not disappointed, our room was clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful and polite. Breakfast was plentiful with everything you need to set you up for the day. Wifi in our room was super fast . We had dinner in the restaurant on our last night, the food was excellent. Overall the Maldron was a good quality hotel at a fair price for a two night break. We would recommend, Dublin is a great city with lot's to see and do.

stayed here last night the hotel is spotless, the rooms are basic but nice decor. The staff were friendly but not up to date with the information they should know. I booked a deal online for a late checkout (2pm) however at 12pm the cleaner let herself into the room and told us we had to leave and so I told her that we had a late checkout and she left. 15 minutes later the receptionist rang the room and told us 12pm was checkout and we have to leave when I explained the same to him he didn't know what deal I was talking about. Again at 1.45pm the cleaner knocked on the door again at this point I was naturally annoyed because why offer a deal if none of the staff are going to be aware of it and also try to rush the guests out of the room. Other than this the hotel was lovely.

Room Tip: Rooms at the front are quite noisy due to a busy road beside it.

I stayed here a couple of days. The room was quite comfortable which is what one needs after a long trip. Staff was overall friendly but depends on the person I guess...Would recommend it for a couple of nights or even a week. Food was excellent!
