“Pleasant wedding anniversary”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2013

We spent 3 days for our first anniversary at this lovely hotel in Dublin. Prior to our arrival, the hotel rang up to inform me that I had a double reservation. Apparently I had mistakenly made two reservations against my name and the hotel wanted to confirm if I wanted to keep both or cancel. I cancelled one of the reservation and informed the caller that it was our first anniversary and didn't want to take chances. To our greatest amazement, we were upgraded from a double to a king room on arrival. We were also given complimentary bottles of wine and chocolates in our bedroom on arrival.
Our original check-in as stated in our booking was for 2.00 pm however we arrived a lot earlier at 9 am. The hotel staff were so nice to us, they granted us an early check-in despite the time we arrived.

The cost of the hotel was very good value for money. The staff were nice and friendly and went out of their way to assist their guest/customers. If you didn't get something they promised, they made up for it in some other way.The meal was nice and lovely. The hotel is within a short walking distance to O' connel street in the heart of the city.

Upon arrival, we were able to check-in before 1pm. This was a great hotel within walking distance of the city centre. Staff had a great local knowledge. As it was our anniversary, we requested a nice room on the top floor. Room was spacious with comfy bed, balcony overlooking Dublin area and a fridge. Some of a nice touches in this hotel was a wine and pralines on arrival. We couldn't make the heating working in the room, reported it to reception, it was fixed immediately. Definetely will return on next Dublin visit.

Room Tip: Rooms on the higher 4th or top 5th floor are queiter.

stayed here for a week, good location for city centre, shopping, hop on/off bus stop near, staff friendly, only ate in restaurant once, that meal was good, room was comfortable, tea/coffee facilities, iron, etc bathroom was clean, towels replaced daily, wi-fi connection was slow some of the time, no room service, had to go down to reception/restaurant to collect meals/milk

Staff we are very kind helpful and pleasant, every time i walked through reception i was greeted, i felt valued that they took the time to acknowledge me. Room was lovely and very clean. I have since recommended hotel to family and friends.
