“Great hotel in a great location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 days ago NEW

We arrived to the Radisson Blu very early in the morning and were pleasantly surprised that our room was available. That was a wonderful start to our vacation! The rooms were quite modern and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the water pressure was excellent.

The staff was very accommodating and friendly; from the reception desk to housekeeping.

The best part was the hotel's location. It seemed to be an easy walk to everywhere we wanted to explore.

I would definitely recommend Radisson Blu Royal for a stay in Dublin. I will surely be back!

Room Tip: Our room faced a side street that was very quiet. That made for good sleep.

Great location, very near Grafton Streeet, which is one of Dublins most busy and fun shopping areas. Its always worth a visit to Bewleys coffee house, which is a famous hangout of Dublin writers, students and Dubliners generally.Friendly staff, nice room. The hotel is off Georges street, which also has some good shops and restaurants. Its also got some great pubs in the vicinity.

We stayed in this Radisson for five nights in November and it was a very pleasant experience overall. The hotel is very well located, being easy walking distance to the city centre and many of Dublin's major tourist attractions.

Our room was large and well furnished, with a luxury feel especially in the large bathroom. Everything was clean and functioned well, with good comfortable bedding. The buffet breakfast was also of a high standard, with the usual variety ut also some nice touches and it was laid out well in a classy-looking restaurant area.

This would have been a five-star review, but for the check-in experience where the pressure to upgrade to a more expensive room was worse than we've experienced at any other hotel anywhere in the world. It's OK to suggest an upgrade but to keep pushing after several clear "no" responses is not what you'd expect of a hotel in this class.

Overall, though, we had a good experience staying in this hotel and would recommend it for location and very high room standard.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The bar area was nice and relaxing and the hotel room was large, comfortable and clean. We didn't try the breakfast, we could get a nice breakfast and drinks in the city for around 10 Euro so the hotel charge of 17 Euro was a bit steep.

The hotel is in a great location, a quiet corner within easy walking distance to all the main sites. If we ever return to Dublin - we'll stay here again.

Our final hotel stay for this trip to Europe reminded me of many of the nice hotels that cater to business travelers back home. Clean, comfortable, and an eager to please staff. No bargains on either the food or the drinks in the bar, but a comfortable & modern lounge and of good quality. The buffet breakfast was the best (both variety and quality) I encountered during my 7 weeks in Europe. We were in walking distance to many of the restaurants and sights in central Dublin including the Temple Bar and Grafton Street. Reception staff went the extra mile to help my wife pin down a tour for the Boyne Valley and that pushed my rating for this hotel up a notch. Our 3rd visit to Dublin and 1st at this hotel, and will not be our last on either count.

The hotel is in a great location and in walking distance to most of the popular tourists sites. The staff is exceptional in their willingness to please. The rooms were quiet and clean. I would gladly stay here again.

A great experience for a business stay, appreciable service at the front desk, pleasant atmosphere in the bar.
Overall a good experience while on business, probably not the best destination for a family stay.

Room Tip: If possible ask for a Business Class room
