“Great location and value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2013

Great location close to St Patricks and a stop for the hop on and off bus. Also walking distance to Dublin Castle, Temple Bar and shopping areas.
Rooms were very nice- great showers- deep baths which I sadly did t have time to enjoy.
Excellent breakfast buffet, enjoyed dinner at the bar late one night and the food there was great too. Great device from the staff

We ate here while visiting Dublin for the night. Fabulous food, beautiful surroundings, pleasant staff, reasonable prices - really enjoyed it. Will definitely return next time we are in Dublin. We didn't stay in the hotel, only used the restaurant, but I'm guessing the rooms are equally as good. Busy too so that's always a good sign of demand.

Room Tip: We didn't stay so cant comment on rooms but it looks fab.

We stayed from 18 Sep - 20 Sep in a suite on the 6th floor. The room was very large, modern with massive bed, sofa, dining table, flat screen TV, safe, iron and ironing board, mini bar and complimentary fruit basket. There was also a large balcony, with views over Dublin, and small table with chairs. The bathroom was wonderful! Very modern, clean and even had a TV over the bath. There was a separate shower and the normal complimentary toiletries.

The staff were extremely attentive and friendly. Check-in & check-out was very quick. Bar staff and waiting staff, again, very friendly. We had breakfast included in our rate, the choice was very good and everything cooked was hot and fresh. We opted for breakfast in our room on the second morning, we were a bit disappointed and wished we had gone to the restaurant instead.

The hotel is in a good central position, literally 5 mins walk to Temple Bar, there is a good choice of restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Stayed here with my husband as we were attending a function in town. Hotel is impressive but the room quality did not impress us. The electrics kept blowing in the room and the maintenance man tried to blame the appliance. We moved room and guess what.... No issues with the hair dryer. The sink in the new room had a constant leak from the tap, the drain smelled, the tv only worked when it wanted to and the curtains were hanging down. Again we called reception and the maintenance man came. Again he used every excuse under the sun as to why these problems were there but failed to fix any of them. He told my husband that he was the engineering manager and his assistant would come to address the issues.... No one came!
The food was average however the breakfast was excellent.
On checkout we found the receptionist to be under pressure she was joined by another staff member who smelled of smoke. Clearly she was on her break but at least freshen up before returning to your desk.

We won't be hurrying back

Hubby & I stayed here for 2 nights on 8/31/2013. Great location close enough to walk to town & pubs but away from all the noise, walking distance to St. Patrick's Cathedral. Everyone at the hotel was helpful & nice. We had issue with room being next to elevator & Francua was kind & quick to change our room. Also Joe, doorman was awesome. He suggested several places to go into town & we were not disappointed. Can not say enough about the breakfast, it was quite the spread, just what we needed for all the walk you do. Bar was also nice, bar tenders quick to suggest drinks. Also like the added extra security that you need a rook key to go to all floors past the hotel lobby.

Visited the restaurant to celebrate our wedding anniversary and had an absolutely amazing time. Was there many times before for working dinners and the food was always very good but it was the first time for a special occasion and surely we were not disappointed. Service is spot on and food is second to none.
We both ordered fried calamari which were simply divine and came with a lovely sauce and for main I had steak it simply melted in your mouth. My husband had rack on lamb and unfortunately I didn’t taste it but did look great and he assured me it was fantastic.
We were so full we didn’t order any dessert.
A magnificent meal and I night to remember.
Can’t recommend it enough!!!!!
