Having planned to stay elsewhere, but being double booked we ended up being upgraded to these apartments. The apartment itself is quite big, plenty of space for a family of four.
The apartment we stayed in had two bedrooms, one twin with en suite, and one double without en suite. The bedrooms had large built in wardrobes and bedside lockers. the windows in the bedrooms could be opened enough to let plenty of air in. The area is quite quiet , not near a busy road So not much noise pollution.
Modern bathrooms, chrome, glass and tiles. the main bathroom had a full sized bath with shower built in. The en suite had a shower, though this one was tempermental at best... lots of hot water and underfloor heating in the bathrooms. This can be turned of easily by a simple digital thermostat, thankfully as the weather was very hot! Very clean, and all of the usual shower gels, shampoos, shower hats etc were there, like a hotel...
SITTING ROOM/ DINING ROOM:
Two large comfortable three seater couches, 32inch lcd tv (No HDMI, only RGB and SCART) usual Irish and UK channels. Mini HIFI stereo (with USB connection, ideal for charging devices}
coffee tables, corner lamp, and dining table with four chairs.
Excellent modern kitchen. Electric four ring glass top hob with stainless steel extractor. Electric oven. Full sized integrated dishwasher, Large integrated 60/40 fridge/ freezer. Microwave. kettle, lots of cupboard storage. Could do with more Kitchen utensils but much better than other apartments we have stayed in.
Washer/ drier, iron and ironing board.
Yes there is a quite big balcony, but as there is no furniture on it it is a little pointless. Though as the sliding door can be opened, when the weather is hot it creates a nice air flow through the apartment.
the building has secure underground parking, a little tricky to get into and not the best lighting. This is designated space parking and costs an additional five euro a day.
the apartments are accessed from the underground car park by lift and stairs through a keypad entry door.
Five minutes drive from to the Dundrum shopping centre and the M50 motorway. Less than half a mile from the Sandyford shopping centre and LUAS tram service which will bring you into the city centre.
