Had three nights here over New Year. It's in a working-class area, with little pockets of peoples from various parts of Europe, and many backpackers and tourists-on-budgets around and about. O'Connell Street is a 6 minute walk away.
Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is adequate, but if you wake up too late and miss it you'lll not be too downhearted. My room 20 double bed was comfortable enough though they might want to think about replacing the mattress soon. There was another single bed for good measure.
Room 20 is at the back of the building, with a quiet, traffic-less lane outside) affording a quiet night's sleep.
The bathroom is modern with underfloor heating, and excellent water pressure and temperature in sink and shower.
Hotel wi-fi only works around reception, where the router is sited. That was slightly annoying. Would have been ever more annoying if I'd been there to work.
