“Amazing Value for your money”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

This is the perfect place to stay if your driving to Dublin and just need a place to stay before you view the sites.. no frills or poshness but free car park, bandb included and you can get this for as little as €39 weekend rate for two!! Staff are lovely and friendly and we had a great laugh with the bar man..we arrived late so the kitchen was closed but the friendly bar man gave us a local chinese number and they arrived to the hotel and the bar man got us plates and forks and it was very good. The rooms were clean and the shower hot..so value for money is guranteed here...the breakfast was lovely all you can eat and I was left leaving wow that was one amazing price for the service food and room...well done Aspect..

I stayed here in July with my boyfriend, and my brother and his girlfriend. We booked 2 rooms and I have to say, for the price of this hotel it is amazing! I have paid so much money for hotels that aren't half as brilliant as this one. The rooms were huge, so comfortable. The bathroom was lovely. The staff were exceptional. We stayed for three nights, and on our second night we returned late to the hotel after the infamous swedish house mafia gig. We were covered head to toe in mud, and we thought the night porter would be pretty mad about this. Instead he laughed and offered us extra towels! It's such a beautiful, modern hotel and the pizzas were amazing too! The luas is located just a 2 minute walk away also so that's perfect. And the hotel gave us a free taxi into the city centre before the concert! Wonderful! I can't compliment this hotel enough! One guy who was on duty the whole time we were there, I wish I knew his name, but he was so nice and he was very helpful and telling us where to go and what to do for the day when we were just hanging around the lobby bored! He was so helpful! The only thing I didn't like was the breakfast, but as I'm not much of a morning person anyway this didn't bother me! The hotel was amazing and I can't wait to stay here again! :)

Location fair but a bit far out of town. Close to both bus and train but car a better option.
Rooms spacious and comfortable.
All facilities very good but new style ventilation can be inadequate at times.
Very helpful staff – ask for whatever you want.

Aspect hotel is about 30 minutes far from Dublin city. There is a free shuttle bus to get into the city at weekends but you will need to catch the public bus to come back. In our case we waited half an hour for the shuttle bus to arrive, wasting half of our morning at the reception area after having slept on the most uncomfortable bed in ages! The size of the room was fine, the view is not bad for the location of the hotel, there was no fridge or extra duvet. It is a very average budget hotel. The weekend rate makes it worthy but I do not see any reason to pay the full rate of a double room. The fitness centre across the road does not provide you with towels, the saunas are located in the changing rooms making impossible to enjoy them with your heterosexual partner and there is always a techno music on the background that is all but relaxing. The bed was terrible, we both have sour backs from it and thus is why we give two stars only.u

It is an excellent hotel with clean and spacious room. Great value for money hotel. Very quiet place for a good night sleep. About 20mins drive to Dublin city centre and there is a train station to city centre 5mins walk from the hotel.

This is a good quality hotel, which is very clean, in a good location - with a bus provided during day to city centre. It also has very nice and helpful hardworking staff
It has good food and a good service from the staff, Rooms very clean. Its a great place to stay if you were up in Dublin for the weekend to go out or to go shopping with friends/family. It has a good base to set off from, would also be good if travelling abroad, fairly near airport. It is very clsoe to luas and very east to get to and from city centre.

The rooms are good especially considering what you are paying - such great big windows, we had food in the restaurant, lovely fish and home made burgers. very tasty
Such great value for money. There are also some good shops close by.
I also noticed that some regulars were drink in the bar - there was a nice atmosphere, very friendly and nice for banter and chit chat. I think the bar staff add to this also as they are happy to work and chat to the customers and have a laugh. Very busy (always a good sign).

Room Tip: If its at the weekend, make sure you dont get a room near hen/stag party.

Rooms are excellent with 6th floor having floor to ceiling windows and terrific views over Dublin. Very helpful staff, couldn't do enough for you. Had food one evening in restaurant and had the best home-made burger ever. Friendly staff. Genuinely delighted at the very pleasant experience. Excellent value for money.

Room Tip: Am a non-smoker and was offered a triple with three single beds or a twin with one double bed which...
