“No Sleep”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2013

The Hotel is convenient to the airport and has excellent complimentary bus connections BUT...... last night was the worst sleep experience I can remember in a hotel. After a five hour flight all I wanted was to sleep. The room on arrival was cold but the major problem was the pillow. It was like a balloon and the most uncomfortable pillow I have ever encountered. I wont stay there again.

Room Tip: Choose a different hotel!

Room was average but clean, restaurant downstairs was good (we brought the food to the room, there is no "room service"). There was no coffee pot or tea pot, but the beds were comfortable. This is an economic stay if you have to catch a flight the next day, but I wouldn't do a vacation here.

Very good underground car parking, easy check-in and a comfortable and spacious junior suite (the Tara Suite). I'd made the reservation through booking.com and the check-in staff did mention that booking.com doesn't specify that a suite had been booked, so the staff have to guess by the prince, in this case a little over €100.

The room had a very good and large bed, easy chairs and a large tv that swivelled and so could be watched from either the easy chairs/sofa or from the bed.

The one slight disappointment was that we had hoped to have dinner in the room, but it seems that room service is not an option. The in-room menu states that you are welcome to bring food up from the brasserie or bar. We ended up eating in the bar, good service and the food portions were generous.

Room Tip: Hotel is less than 10 minutes drive from Dublin airport terminals

we got in too late to drive safely to our destination after a transatlantic flight, so stayed here upon recommendation from a family member

rooms are not charged per person as many hotels in ireland are, but by the room, which is nice

they are very utilitarian but clean and comfortable. we did have to ask for a second set of towels, as the room (set up for 3 occupants with a double bed and a single bed) only had one set

free wifi in the rooms and lobby

friendly staff

restaurant and bar open until 10 or so, which is very handy. good service and quite reasonable food. prices were fair. there was a large loud holiday party or wedding going on in a room near the casual restaurant/bar area so this place seems to be used by locals as well

we did not go into the fancier restaurant area

breakfast served early, and a coffee machine in the lobby handy for early travelers

I would stay there again certainly.

we used the free shuttle from the airport, which is fairly hard to find. we had to ask several people to find it and walk about a block or so away from Terminal 1, past the bus station area, so plan ahead.

I have stayed in this hotel twice in the last twelve months. Both times the hotel is very good value, and the sleep quality is very good. Bathroom is servicable, and clean and tidy.
If your going on a long trip for more than a few days the carpark facility is really great value and the shuttle to the airport takes away a lot of stress when getting to and from the airport, espically in wintertime when you don't want to have to stand in the long term carparks waiting for a bus.
The only thing that I would complain about is the food, the food is really bad. I thought this the last time I stayed but thought perhaps it was just my choice, this time however I had chickenwings and chips , the wings were deep fried and the oil needed changing about a month previously so they were greasy and the chips were a dark brown from ugly oil.
The staff in this hotel are all very friendly and helpful, so just eat somewhere else and enjoy your stay.

Room Tip: Even though this is an airport hotel, the sleep quality is excellent.

Stayed here for a night before leaving on a long haul freight and the service was very good. The airport is 5 minutes away but they have a shuttle that leaves every 20 minutes and we had no issues at all.
