I've been absolutelly shocked by the manner in which me my friend were refused entry in this kip.
The story reeks of ovious racism.
Me and friend who was visiting Dublin made the capital mistake of going to ClubM, randomly picked while rambling in Temple Bar.
On the empty alley in front of the Club, there were only two approaching groups: a bunch of Irish lads and us.
Them Irish lads in their t-shirts, although visibly tipsy, went in, no bother whatsoever.
Us "non-nationals" boys, wering jackets due to chilly weather, proved undesirable for the hi standards of ClubM, so we were immediatelly informed that "YOU WON'T GET IN TONIGHT, BOYS!!! NOT TONIGHT." No other explanation offered, just a blunt "beat it".
Neither of us was wearing any runners on, no white freaking jeans, no pony tail, no tacky lether jacket. Both of us were completelly sober.
I've never been refused access before, so it was pretty damn humiliating.
Especially to be discriminated, and the place was surely almost empty.
The simpleton who claimed to be the manager of the kip, was standing proud on the steps, safely surrounded by his 5 or 6 henchmen, very full of his important social position...
Really really low and pathetic.....
However, apart from that horrible incident, please do yourself a huge favour and never ever go there. I've been in there once and it is nothing else but an overpriced pretentious posing venue, where blinking coloured lights and cheap bling desperately try to make up for the lack of class.
