I throughly enjoyed my stay there. The hotel room was nice and clean . A free shuttle bus was also provided to take the hotel guests to a nearby town at night. When I and my friend missed the bus by a minute, the hotel staff called the driver to stop on the side road, so that we could catch them. We had a wonderful night listening to some Irish songs and enjoyed a drink.
The hotel staff there were wonderful and very approachable. Their professional standards and customer care were high. The breakfast was great with lots of choice.
I would recommend this lovely hotel and would love to return there again.

We stayed in Dublin several days, but had an early flight back to the states so we wanted to be closer to the airport. Was a little disappointed that this hotel was still 15-20 min ride to the airport. We turned in our rental car at the airport and took the shuttle to the hotel. Check in was easy, had a nice non-smoking room with a king bed. Ate a good meal in the restaurant.
Wake up call was on time and we had reserved the shuttle so it was also ready. Took the ride to the airport with no problems.

Note traveling to the US from Dublin Airport you clear US immigration and customs so allow extra time for Irish & US security.

If you are thinking of staying here as an ultra-smart alternative to staying in the City, think again. The reports are accurate, it's a very classy airport hotel with all you would expect from Hilton....except for the fact it is not anywhere near Dublin Airport. Not that this would pose a problem, the shuttle bus service is very good and runs half hourly, but the hotel is located in Clare Hall which is most definitely NOT on the airport grounds.

Rooms are clean and comfortable, usual H standard, we did not sample food so cannot comment impartially. I do not know why anybody would stay here other than to catch an early morning flight (or some other airport related reason). There is nothing of interest in the immediate area bar a few food shops and a giant supermarket across the junction. Not even remotely close to downtown Dublin, so it would be pointless using this as a base to explore the City (sure it can be done if you wish to navigate public transport but it would be a cumbersome way to spend a trip).

There are 3 other Hilton properties in Dublin (Charlemont and Kilmainham Hiltons and also the Conrad on the Green) all are far better located for visiting Dublin. With this in mind I can only recommend the Hilton "Dublin Airport" (ish) if in transit and it serves your travelling needs.

Room Tip: No good views to be had unfortunately, only an empty field and main roads

Stayed here for 9 nights and it was great. Never had any problems. Rooms were big and clean. Beds comfy. Breakfast was good and offered a variety of foods. Gym was descent. There is a bus nearby that will take you into the Dublin in about 20-30 min. You can also go to Malahide which is only about 4 miles north. There is a cute town w bars and food there. Next to the hotel is a supermarket and liquor store. The restaurant bar downstairs has great food and not overpriced and busy most nights. Live music on Fridays and Saturday's too. Internet was fast as well- wireless. Staff was really nice and helpful. Enjoy your stay!

This is a good Hilton hotel. Not the best hilton around. The car park is a bit tight but is free.

We should have looked at other options. This hotel was impossible to find because we were looking at/near the airport and it was a 20 minute ride away. We just missed the shuttle and had a 45 minute wait. There was a crowd of people waiting to go to the Hilton and they show up in a 6 passanger van....Once we arrived at the hotel there was a big line to get checked in. We finally got checked in only to find out that they gave us a smoking room. It took a phone call and a trip down to the desk to get a new room. All they had left was a handicap room which was OK. On the upside, we had a great dinner there. The food was very tasty.

Room Tip: Make sure to check and double check about a non-smoking room...

I've stayed here several times, only as I've had meetings in the hotel. Otherwise it's a 15min bus trip from the airport and 30-40 mins taxi ride from the city. I stayed there again 2 nights ago and was kept awake by a very loud fan that I couldn't turn off (not the air-con) that the receptionist told me would be turned off in the hotel around 7pm. It didn't turn off till after 9pm and cane on again in the morning! The staff are nice and the food is pretty nice, but I would only stay there if I absolutely have to....
