“Fab Tour Guide”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2013

Our tour guide, Sinead, was fabulous when we visited the stadium in August. She explained how the tour would work and everything was very clear. The groups are quite large, of about 40-50 people, however she always waited for people to catch up before talking. You see the dressing rooms, the media box, corporate boxes, the after match bar, the tunnel and also watch an interesting film about working at the stadium on a match day. You learn a lot about Hurling and Gaelic Football too - great for sports fans from around the world! It is a reasonable cost of 12 Euros for an adult or 9 Euros for a student. This includes access to the Museum and Interactive Zone where you can try different aspects of the game - well worth a go!

“meets expectations”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2013

To counter one of the recent reviews, I saw a few lassies (my tour was about a week ago) who were actually enjoying this thing - surprisingly enough. Anyway, that was a great tour: informative and entertaining. Also, the guide was terrific, not least becasue he knew the capital of my Eastern Euroupean country. Seriously though, besides being extremely knowledgeable, the guy was visibly passionate about Gaelic footbal, hurling and (obviously) the stadium, which helped make the tour so good. Some impressive panoramic views, too. Excellent behind-the-scenes stuff. Well worth a visit.
