“Good Steaks”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014 via mobile

Arrived on a Saturday with no reservation and we were promptly seated by a very efficient young lady. It seemed quiet for a Saturday.. But hey i wasn't conplaining. Our drinks and food orders were promptly taken. They have some lovely wines and as is normal they are all around £30. 2 Steaks and a Burger with a side of Onion rings. All were very tasty.

“Great early bird option.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2014

I met a friend here for an after work dinner. We weren't disappointed. We both chose the early bird option for €19.95 for 2 courses. And we both had the same food of chicken wings to start with sirloin steak for our mains. Both very well presented and very tasty. Steak was cooked as asked - rare and well done. No pressure from the staff to have dessert. Staff friendly and vigilant. All in all a good meal for a good price.

“Delicious food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2014

We went on a Thursday night and it was very busy, obviously the Early Bird menu is creating a lot of custom. We were eating off the á la carte menu, and the food was delicious. The starters - a goats cheese salad and a chicken caesar salad - were both generous and very tasty. We both chose the rib eye steak for the main and were not disappointed with the flavour. Mine was slightly stringy though, which I haven't encountered elsewhere, but I suppose with a rib eye its a risk you take, although it wasn't the type of fat that normally caramelises in this type of cut. We had a side order of crispy onions which, even though I was allegedly full, I just HAD to finish, they were so tasty!

Service was excellent, although we were disappointed with one aspect. We were 5 minutes late for our booking (I double-checked the time, it was no later) and it seems our table was given away. When we arrived, the waiter led us to our table - a well placed one - to find another couple settling in. Another table was quickly found for us, but it was exposed to the draught from the door - every time the door opened, my wife got a chill wind from outside, which made her very uncomfortable. We asked was there another table, but there wasn't. It kind of added insult to injury when, as we were paying, and without us saying anything, the waitress said that next time we should book to avoid getting this table. WE HAD BOOKED! And for a birthday meal too. The table is obviously known to be uncomfortable.
