“Excellent Tapas”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2013

We were in San Sebastian a few weeks ago and the tapas there are pretty special. Well I can say that what we had in Tapas de Lola was really up there with what we had in Spain. We had a selection between four of us and kept ordering until the waitress said stop. All the dishes were super fresh and there really was not a weak dish in it. Excellent food, great value.

“Very enjoyable evening had by all”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2013

Having read the other reviews I have to agree with the positive ones as we were lucky enough to have booked early and managed to get in, unlike the other poor guy. Everything came together perfectly, good food, great attentive service, lovely atmosphere. We came here for the first time with our ten year old, he absolutely loved it and wants to know when we are going back. It felt like being on holiday for a couple of hours and everything we were served was delicious and of consistent quality. The music and décor are wonderful but what makes it extra special is the service. We seemed to be the only people with a child in there at the time (a Tuesday evening, just after six) so I'm not sure if it's generally a place to bring kids. That said, the staff didn't bat an eyelid on showing him to his seat. Would make a great date night, night with the girls, work dinner/entertaining colleagues. We just had the Estrella beer and some soft drinks so looking forward to next time and all the items on the menu we just couldn't fit in plus sampling the wines (babysitters at the ready...).

“A little bit of Spain in sunny Dublin”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2013

We'd agree with a previous review that this place really did feel like eating out in Spain.

Authentic and delicious dishes, served by Spanish staff and washed down with Estrella beer and Crianza Rioja. It was as lively as Spain as well - we managed to get a table for two thanks to some excellent logistics by the Maitre D.

A great find, and if you fancy a delicious craft beer beforehand, there's an excellent pub just next to it.

“Best Tapas, Felt like I was in Spain”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2013 via mobile

We went here tonight and it was a most enjoyable experience. The service was excellent. We made a reservation but the staff were extremely nice and constant attention i.e taking empty plates off the table which was helpful as we ordered a lot. Staff knew a lot about the menu and wines etc. cannot fault this place! It's was fantastic and best tapas I've ever had in dublin and have tried a lot tapas places. It was authentic beautiful and so so tasty. We made a reservation for next Saturday! Try the oxtail, chorizo with black pudding and pigs cheek- star of the show.

“Delightful atmosphere and excellent value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2013 via mobile

I cannot fault my experience in this restaurant. The tapas are unbelievably tasty and flavourful. The atmosphere was brilliant, it was so sunny and we sat on the terrace. We were lucky to get a table cos it was so busy, even though it was early on a sunday evening. Next time i will book! The food was amazing. The whitebait, and the chorizo in white wine sauce were particularly delicious. can't wait to go back!
