“Terrible sound quality”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2013

I used to go to gigs in the 70's and 80's - sound was always superb....
This sounded like a karaoke night at the pub - we left after 20 minutes...
Could not hear guitar or voices - and I'm fairly certain the sound system was clipping.
Maybe standards have fallen in the las 20 years or so - but for £160 I expect good sound - even if the band is terrible (which it probably wasn't if you could have heard it!!)

“Fleetwood Mac Show Sept 21st”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2013

Great seating, so everyone should have a good view of the show. Lots of entrances, not all easily found, lots of steps but plenty of staff to assist.Plenty of outlets for food and drink both inside and out the O2

“Fleetwood Mac 20 September”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2013

Exceedingly poor quality of the sound at the Fleetwood mac concert at the O2 in Dublin on Friday 20 September. Mick Fleetwood's drums overpowered the other members of the band. John McVey's bass guitar could hardly be heard and all vocals were unintelligible.
This abysmal sound may be attributable to Fleetwood Mac's sound engineer but it is more probable that it was the acoustics and the sound system at the O2 venue. We were extremely disappointed with the sound quality at the concert. Given the price of the tickets this experience is unforgiveable.

“NO AIR CONDITIONING OR VENTILATION”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2013

Went to see Fleetwoodmac on Sep21 , what an unpleasant experience , the heat was unbearable , It must be a health and safety issue .If I got in FREE plus Free Flights, Free accommodation and €5000 to spend , I will not be back , What a let down,. What a disgrace to expect people to endure that heat. What COWBOY designed and built the place , So glad he is gone BUST and hopefully not repeat such ventures. Totally spoilt my weekend away.

“Good venue”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2013

The O2 is easily accessible on foot, by bus and LUAS from the city centre. The lobby seems somewhat dark and bleak, but the concert arena is very pleasant. I like the half-circle shape of the arena, which makes it seem more compact than the O2 in London. I went to two concerts and had excellent seats in tier E and D, from where it was possible to see the stage fairly well, and the view of the screens was uninterrupted. The atmosphere was great, and I liked the fact that people were restricted to enter the arena at the end of acts for the first half hour or so.
