“A little unpromising but great food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2013 via mobile

I had lunch here because I had heard some good reports. At 2pm it was quite empty and felt almost closed. I looked at the menu on the wall and chose 3 items. I did not recognise some of the dishes but there was no explanation in English e.g. Bun Cha, Banh Cuon. The portions of soup are huge! & really tasty! Won Ton noodle soup was light with very tasty won tons. Spicy Hue Style Noodle soup was hot & spicy which I loved. An order of spring rolls was over cooked but the sauce that accompanied them was just gorgeous. My advice is to choose only one soup dish or main course, although the photos look small the actual portions are huge. Looking forward to my next visit and I wish they were closer to my home.

“Authenticity at great value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2013

This is my favorite eat on Capel Street and the best part about it is definitely the price. Totally authentic Southeast Asian grub with an excellent selection of drinks ...and the best part is, unlike some of the other places along this drag, there's no kid-gloves menu for Western customers. What you're getting is the real deal.

“Vietnamese food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2013 via mobile

There are very few Vietnamese restaurants in Dublin and this one has the true flavors the Vietnamese cuisine. You need to try it!

“Excellent Vietnamese Food at low price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 24, 2012

This place is simply a little gem in the city. The Phnom Penh noodle, Pho noodle, summer rolls and pork baguettes are delicious!! They are full of flavour and are very authentic Vietnamese food. It’s very hard to find good Vietnamese food in the city and with prices ranging from €3 to €6 for everything on the menu, you simply can’t beat this place. The only fault with this place is the location, Caple street is a bit far from everything else and dodgy at night. But every time my boyfriend and I are in town during the day, we’ll definitely make the effort to go there for lunch.

The place is very basic, but very clean and the staffs are very friendly. Only suggestion is if there’s some music in the restaurant it’ll be even better.
