“Looove their french toast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2014

I come here once in a while. Love the atmosphere. Food is amazing! Absolutely love their french toasts. Only drawback is one waitress - talks waaay to much about weird things. Sometimes just the thought of coming there and listening to her puts me off.

“consistent good food, good value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2014

Friendly efficient staff, good varied menu for lunch or evening meals.
During a recent visit to Dublin, we went twice to this venue as we have consistently had good meals in the past. We had a party of six on each occasion and all were very happy with their food. Starters including prawn cocktail & Clonakilty pudding worthy of special mention. My mainer -shank of lamb was cooked to perfection -previously I had corned beef which was also delicious. The seafood salad is really excellent but you need to be hungry as it is served with very appetising brown bread. Strongly recommended for high class pub food.

“Second Great Sunday Visit!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2014

Have popped in here on a couple of Sundays over the past few months and have been very impressed on both occasions. Excellent bar staff & extremely friendly & efficient floor staff create a nice atmosphere blending the various needs (food & sports watching) of their customers with ease. Tried the seafood chowder which was well made and packed full of fish served nicely with great soda bread. Will definitely visit again.

“Top Drawer”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 20, 2014

I visit here on several occasions and have to say I have never been disappointed. Very nice food which is served by polite and friendly waiting staff. If you're fortunate to get seated by the river dodder flowing at the back of the pub, then all the better as it's a superb view.
Anytime I have been there with my girlfriend and we ask for a slight change to the meal, it is never a problem and always carried out. I would definitely recommend it.
