I can't believe I haven't posted sooner. My husband Dan and I stayed with Garvin, Kevin and Fred for a few days while touring the UK and Ireland together in December 2012. It was close to the holidays and we were welcomed with a beautiful little tree in our room. The bed was cozy, we literally melted away in it after our chilly days touring Dublin and Howthe (Howthe was toured by recommendation of Garvin and Kevin and we were delighted). The breakfasts were superb and they happily met my dietary restrictions with incredible cuisine that was divine with every bite. I would recommend Two Rooms to any friend, family or acquaintance that travels to Dublin. I wish we could have stayed longer! We will be back again! Oh, and did I mention how much we love Fred??? Send him hugs and kisses from us!

Garvan was a warm and friendly host who served us an exceptionally healthy, hearty and fabulously delicious breakfast. The bedroom was large, the bed and linens were luxurious and the warmth of the fire in the fireplace in the room took the chill out of the day.

Garvan was helpful to us in so many ways. We wholeheartedly recommend this B & B without reservation. If in Dublin, would most definitely stay here again.

Dear Anne.

Thank you so much. I've passed that wonderful review onto myself and it's brought a smile to my face :) So glad you loved your stay. Thank you also for your own recommendations while here. Will be sure to chase them up and we may cross paths again in the future. Obviously if you're ever back in Dublin, we'd love to have you.

I do like your description of my breakfast. I do.

Very best wishes,
Garvan, Kevin (who you never met) and Fred

My boyfriend and I spent the weekend in Dublin and I think we chose the perfect place to stay. The bed was luxurious, the bathroom spacious and chic, it was a great location (walking distance to downtown) and the food absolutely fabulous! Kevin and Garvin were away for our first two nights but their friend Norma took care of us and she is a wonderful host as well! The scones and jam were scrumptious, definitely my favourite part of breakfast, though it's hard to compare to the french toast and berries and the whiskey and brown sugar porridge. Needless to say, I look forward to a cookbook in the future. Kevin and Garvin made sure we had everything we needed while they were away and left a note for us with a variety of suggestions for cafes, restaurants and bars (*very* helpful, great ideas!). We also got to meet Fred our last night there, such a handsome pup! I would have loved to buy a mug to take home but my suitcase was already packed to the brim (next time for sure!). I definitely recommend Two Rooms if you're staying in Dublin, and I'll gladly stay again. Thanks for a lovely weekend!

Dear Maret.

Our sincere thanks for posting your review and we're delighted you had a lovely time in Two Rooms. All the more so, that you were looked after so well by the lovely Norma. I've passed your message onto Norma and she's chuffed with your comments.

You're most welcome for the lovely weekend and we would be delighted to have you stay again in the future.

Very best wishes,
Garvan, Kevin, Fred (not forgetting Norma & Mylo) - the family is growing!

Two Rooms is a truly charming house. A distinct sense for lovely details reflect the owners' personalities.
The BnB is located on a quiet side-street, yet only a short walking distance to Dublin city centre.

Our first visit to Dublin turned into a heartwarming, memoriable experience - thanks to our extraordinary hosts Garvan, Kevin and sweet Fred!
Their suggestions for places to dine and drink were invaluable and perfectly matched our preferences.

And as if this wasn't enough, we were treated with the finest delicacies for breakfast. You guys are gifted cooks and endearing people.

Believe me, we wouldn't have fallen in love with Dublin without your attentive care. Thanks!

I was hoping to find a quiet, authentic bed and breakfast while in Dublin and I found it with Two Rooms in Dublin. All the other reviews are right. Garvin and Kevin are the perfects hosts and their home is absolutely lovely. Fred is what tops off the experience!!! The breakfast is to die for and the bed is so comfy. And after a long day of traveling and sight seeing, the quiet, serene surroundings were perfect. The location is convenient to walk everywhere you need to go. Thank you for a wonderful stay. If we're ever back in Dublin we'll definitely stay again and we will recommend to our friends.

Dear Lori.

We need to start giving Fred a salary, his ego is becoming too much so we don't let him read these TripAdvisor reviews anymore. Thank you very much for your lovely review and it was a pleasure having you both. Glad the rest of your trip was as much fun as Dublin.

And thank you for you nice invitation to the West Coast - you might just be hearing from us :) oh and for the recommendation!

Garvan, Kevin & Fred.

We had a wonderful stay in a wonderful house with wonderful hosts. Everything was perfect. It's impossible to beat this great mix of hospitality, good taste and charm - they did just everything to make our stay perfect and most romantic... It's absolute not usual, to find a red rose and an enlightened fireplace at the arrival at midnight!!! But they just did it without any hesitation.
Further we had the best and most creative breakfast ever in Eire - thanks a million to Garvan, Kevin and Fred. We'll come back definitely and tell all our friends about this treasure in Dublin!

We have just spent three fantastic days (and nights) at Garvan, Kevin and Fred's place. It's been such a wonderful stay!

"B&B" is a term that does not do any justice to what, from now on, will be our home away from home in Dublin. We would say it's been a mind-blowing world-altering experience of charm and style.

Everything oozes with magic, starting from the stone grey door that tastefully welcomes you.
We would want to spoil many of the "tricks" here, but just to say everything said in previous reviews are really accurate. Garvan and Kevin are the ultimate hosts, (coffee, homemade scones and jam upon arrival, excellent tips and advice on things to do and eat off the beaten track) and Fred is the cherry on top of the cake. The attention to detail reaches unbelievable levels (fresh cut roses and soft music in the bedroom, beautiful tulips in the dining room...), leaving us flabbergasted and in awe. Misquoting Samuel Johnson, we would say "when a man is tired of TWORROMSINDUBLIN, he is tired of life".

We are really looking forward to coming back "home".

Love from Spain,

Sofia&Roberto
