“Nothing for lunch!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 12, 2012

Went here today at 1.45 pm - they advertise lunch seved til 4pm. Soup all gone, only 1 sandwich type available -chorizo and Brie ( not everyone's cup of tea) and one salad - quinoa with kale and pomegranate. Had soup and salad there last week, soup was nice but the quinoa, aubergine salad was tasteless , needed dressing or herbs. Wouldn't rate this place for lunch as it is too limited - one type of sandwich, One salad and one soup ( if there is any left). Also no loose leaf tea -only tea bags which is a personal gripe with me.

“Great flavours and atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2012

Recently had dinner here on a Saturday night. The service is not the conventional Irish restaurant style but it was very good and the food arrives when it is ready, lovely and relaxed service. Food was full of great flavours and well seasoned. Staff were very friendly and there was a great buzz in the room.
Desserts are not the strong point but weren't bad.

“Fabulous! Top quality food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2012

Ate here with a group of 10 a few weeks ago. Eating here with a group means you can pretty much try everything on the menu as they have sharing splatters. The quality of the food was amazing and there was a really nice friendly laid back atmosphere but with top notch food. Loved all of the dishes on the menu - starters mains and desserts!! There really is something for everyone. it was nice seeing the food prepared right in front of you. It was like having a chef come to your own kitchen! The service was great. Very friendly and prompt. Really recommend this place especially if going out in a group!

“Richard and Emilia's gourmet dazzling dinners”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 14, 2012

This small eatery, is by day a jewel in Ringsend, Sylvia makes the best coffee and Michaela's ginger, carrot, orange and beetroot smoothies are full of mouthwatering goodness. However all that changes by the evening time. Food Game becomes a small oasis and serves the most delicious "sharing" platters. Slow roasted lamb or pork belly are but two of the dishes. The best is the hake on a bed of winter greens. Prices are most acceptable, €8.00 to €10.00 per plate . If there are 5 or 6 of you, you can order 1 plate of everything on menu, plus a glass of wine and you will be well satiated for under €20.00 a head. Its fun to share tasters and then the next time that you return you might decide that you don't want to share with anyone! It is so good. Richard Gleeson is blazing a trail with his innovative dishes and attention to detail. Emilia is his assistant and deserves a mention for her continuing high standards. Check it out, only open from Wednesdays to Saturdays for dinner.

This cafe is really lovely. I've been here a few times for brunch and it is always excellent. Just tried it last Thursday dor the new dinner menu which although is a bit limited - it is lovely and great for shadings. Highly recommend.
