“Alternative to fish and chips”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2013

We had a delicious lunch before viewing the collection in the Chester Beatty Library. The vegetarian lasagna was a savory mix of spinach and cheese in a phyllo crust, and the "chicken dish" was tender, spicy meat over flavorful rice. The salads stole the show, however: an unusual beet, onion, and currant; a red cabbage-raisin; a feta-cucumber-tomato; and a large spoonful of green and black olives. Plan to have a meal here. You won't be disappointed.

“What a Surprise!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2013

We stopped here after my husband spent over an hour looking at just one book in the library! I was hungry. It was a great break from the normal Irish pub food and everything was absolutely delicious! We got falafel, grape leaves, chickpea salad, and an array of desserts. Everything was such a wonderful surprise! A hidden gem for sure.

“So good we went twice- excellent food in skylight atrium with stream”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2013

This is behind Dublin castle inside the Chester Beatty library (free entry) it is sold cafeteria style and then you sit in a skylighted attractive atrium with a indoor stream bubbling in the center. The restrooms are clean and spacious. We loved the chicken tarragon curry. It is a perfect rest stop during a busy day of sightseeing. We saw groups with children in strollers- good spot to rest with children too-spacious and open.

“Veggie heaven”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2013

This restaurant is worth seeking out. It's not on the main drag but in the grounds of Dublin Castle off Dame Street.
Fab selection of food with a Middle Eastern slant. But the salads are the best in Dublin, also love the Bakalava.Gets very busy at lunchtime.
