Stayed at this hotel between Christmas and New Year. Had conjoining rooms for 2 ad and 4 children (16,14,11 &4) and have to say great comfort. Staff lovely at check in - especially Michelle.
Had couple of drinks in bar and enjoyed live music. For us this is a great location as we have family on Dublin's north side (via new bridge and Macken Street its only 15 minutes to Glasnevin out of rush hours and other family in north county Wicklow. Also - Baggot Steet Milano's Rest is one of the best and 5 mins walk away and Searsons Pub the usual superior old style pub in the area. Only downside, and may not be a big thing for most guests, but breakfast is a bit on the bland side and would urge hotel to change their supplier for sausages, don't keep overcooking the bacon and add some real milk to the blocky and stodgy scrambled egg - the catering staff are well up for this and must feel miserable having to serve this up each day. All in all 4+ out of 5!
