“Great food and bar”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2014

Located very close to our hotel, we'd spotted the restaurant and picked it out for our last meal in the city. A justified choice. The food was great, we shared a starter of beef nachos, then had fish and chips and Irish stew for mains. Both were certainly not lacking in either quantity or quality. The bar staff kept track of out empty glasses and regularly offered us more, an option we chose to take up. We then split the cheesecake of the day, white chocolate and strawberry - a perfect end to a perfect trip.

“Food was reasonably good.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2014

A group of four of us booked to dine here on 8th March 2014 as it is close to the Abbey theatre. The food was reasonable but the food service area is part of the main bar and it was incredibly noisy as there was a large crowd watching football in the bar. The gentleman supervising the waiting on staff (who were lovely) was constantly telling them off for no reason that I could see. The general manager seemed to be a bit stressed as there was a 21st on upstairs and was quite abrupt.

“Friendly staff ”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2014

Food is good, pretty reasonable. The barman is very chatty and welcoming. They didn't have a lunch menu, just a dinner menu. They also don't do sandwiches on Saturdays, which irked us a little bit as we wanted to have a toasted sandwich not a main course, however the food was nice.

There was a small problem with a wrong order as it hadn't been written down, but was sorted straight away.
