“Very convenient budget accommodations”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2013

Located just across the river from Hueston Station in Dublin, the Tipperary House offers very affordable and convenient accommodations. Our room was a small private ensuite, that could have been roomier, but fit the bill for our first night in Ireland.

I booked for my family a room for 4 people and Mark was really kind from the beginning. He reserved a room with 5 beds only for them. I saw the room, it was spacious, clean and warm. My family told me that the breakfast was very good. Considering the amount they spent for three nights (much less than 100 euro per person), this accomodation provides you a great value for money. I found position very strategic, as in few minutes you could reach the centre even walking.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We've been around for one night out in the city and found miraculously this hostel. cheap and very friendly, those guys will welcome you warmly. enjoy the location as well : 15mn far from the city centre of dublin, 2mn from Heuston train station.

Room Tip: perfect for a backpackers trip or a week end off in the city.

Absolutey affordable B&B, located 30mins walk from Dublin centre, 5 mins from Phoenix Park. Good service, friendly staff and excellent breakfast. I'd recommend to anyone looking for a budget accommodation.

I stayed in Dublin for a week at a budget hostel in Temple Bar. On my way back through, I stayed here and it was FANTASTIC! Mark is a gracious host, the rooms have everything you need, even supplies for an in-room cup of tea/coffee. Comfortable beds, quite night's sleep, cozy breakfast with absolutely delicious coffee. I am so, so sad I didn't stay here the first time around. It was truly my loss. Thank you so much, Mark. When I come back to Dublin, you are my first stop!

I stayed with 3 friends last weekend whilst in town for a gig. Mark and his father were incredibly welcoming and very keen to share local knowledge without being overbearing. The room was clean, well equipped and perfectly comfortable. Only a short walk from the center of town and right next to the Guinness brewery and Phoenix Park.

A great little hotel that I would Happily recommend.
