“Food was Gold but the restaurant was so cold”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 3, 2012

There were 14 of us for meal in the Harbourmaster on Saturday 1st December 2012. The service and food was very good but because it was so cold there we couldn't enough it as much as we should. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Food was good. We ended up sitting with either some of us with scarves around our legs or jackets on as it was cold.

“Voucher Meal”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2012

Was given a voucher for this restaurant for two people. Asked for starters of pudding which came out with a salad and pastry. The pastry was hardened from reheating and the salad was wilted. We asked for a new salad and was given the same yellowed wilted salad. The main had nice vegetable arrangement but was let down by having charred burning. Staff were present but had to be called to ask for the bill. The restaurant provided ok bar food not what was expected.

“Good pub”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2012

Popped here for drinks and a bit of food after work. It's a decent place that is reasonably priced, has a good atmosphere and the food wasn't bad too. It was a good starting venue for Thursday night before going out.

“Great Pub”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2012

Very Good food at reasonable price. Good atmosphere and staff was very accommodating. Decent selection of food too. The building kept much of the original wood. Very classic Irish pub.

“Fab meal, very attentive service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 16, 2012

We had an evening meal at this quaint bar, and elegant restaurant. The bar service was friendly, and the restaurant service very attentive. The seabass, sides of cheesy sliced potatoe and mushroom & onion was fab - fresh, tasty, and good portion size. The duck slao rated highly. The atmosphere was good, busy with after work people, and early birds. The coffee was nice and hot. I would return here for the food alone.
