“It's ok”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2013

Cultural activities can be quite expensive.. this one included (if you're a student, have your student card by the hand).

It was okay but I'm not a whisky drinker so my interest was limited. The guide was funny and adorable.

- You might have to wait up to 50 minutes
- Visit takes about 50 minutes to an hour - ends with a glass of whisky
- Visits are toured by a guide - starting with a movie...
- You cannot visit on your own
- I think you can book online

“One of the top attractions in Dublin”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

We visited in June 2013. It is a must to go there. Attention to detail and a fully guided tour. The tasting at the end of the tour is the cherry on the cake

“Informational and Fascinating”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2013

This tour was fantastic. I had concerns about how interesting a tour about making whiskey would be, but I was proven wrong! The tour was multimedia and had a lot of interesting aspects. Additionally, there is a sampling at the end of the tour, which was also excellent. Our experience with the employees was also excellent. They were informative, helpful, and courteous throughout our experience.

“Jameson Distillery tour - Dublin”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 29, 2013

The tour begins promptly on the hour. It starts with an excellent re-enactment movie of the early days of the distillery for about 10 minutes, then a 25 minute walking tour of the distillery, followed by a tasting room. Eights persons volunteered to be tasters ( you should definitely volunteer) and the rest observed the results. An excellent value and well worth the 2 hours total counting walking time and gift shopping.

“Surprisingly good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 29, 2013

This was a no nonsense tour that seemed like the perfect length. Not long enough to be boring but not short enough that we didn't feel like we were shorted information. The short film at the beginning was highly entertaining and the tasting at the end was surprisingly good even though there were several in our party who do not enjoy whiskey.
