Owner description: Join us for a guided tour through the romantic past of Irish Whiskey making, learn about the Angels Share, Triple Distillation and above all the smooth taste of Jameson Irish Whiskey.Open 7 days all year, the journey begins with an audio visual presentation followed by a walk through the recreated distillery and culminates in the Jameson Discovery Bar with a complimentary glass of Jameson and a chance to become a "Qualified Irish Whiskey Taster". The Jameson Gift Shop, Bars & Restaurant all offer so much more than just a tour, but an exciting and engaging experience at the Home of Jameson Irish Whiskey.

“Corny displays and educational tasting.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2013

The old distillery has been transformed into a museum, restaurant, and bar. The tour through the museum depicts parts of the distilling process as it used to be done. Listen closely and you will hear that things are done a little differently in the new location. The museum is mostly dioramas and so/so depictions. The tour ends in the tasting room with an explanation of the differences in taste between American, Irish, and Scotch whiskeys. About eight people were chosen as tasters and asked for their opinions. This was the most interesting part. Early in the tour when they ask for volunteers, be one.

“Something to do”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2013 via mobile

Took the Jameson tour. Found it to b interesting but not quite asgood as the Guinness tour. The gift shop is expensive but everything looks like good quality. I would reccommend this as something to do in Dublin.

“Great tour”

Our tour was an absolute blast. Also oir tour guide Emer was the best. She knew all about everything. Also the whiskey tasting at the end finishes everything off nicely!

“DONT BOTHER”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2013

It is not a distillery! It WAS a distillery. don't waste your money, stick to the Guinness!! A real disappointment. I was expecting to see the whiskey being made, an experience not to be missed. instead we were walked around 7 rooms with a unenthusiastic guide, who i think was embarrassed at just how much they charge for such a disappointing experience.

“Poor”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2013

First I would say that booking online is not ideal because you have to provide a date and time and when you are on holiday you do not really know when you are going exactly. The Guinness tour gave you the freedom to go whenever you liked for that remaining year which was more than ideal. The short film was, as the woman explained to us, not going to win any Oscars for sure! The rest of the tour took under half an hour and not everyone had the option to try the whiskey tasting. I still would say that I enjoyed their triple distilled whiskey but unfortunately the tour did not reach my expectations
