“Thought provoking”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2013

Amazing sculpture. Group of figures outside on the bank of the Liffey and nothing else there to see but I think worth the walk. Certainly I found it emotional and my partner who is from dublin originally was even more so

“Moving”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2013

We came across this on our way to the Docklands Area, near the Samuel Becket bridge shaped like a harp. Very moving

“A haunting reminder of our past”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2013

The statues are wonderful and in a great location to visit- away from the bustle of Dublin. It would be great to visit the sister site in Toronto, Canada

“Heart-wrenching portrayal”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

We saw the sculpture while on the green Hop On/Off bus. Since we had already visited the Dunratty Famine Ship earlier in the week, the sculpture depicting the gaunt people had more impact on us. What a sad story.

“Wow!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

It is a great sculpture that represents a tragic part of history. The city is full of staues but this grouping is remarkable.
