Wrought Iron but still the only way to cross the Liffey. Beautiful, eye catching and just a great view of the city.

“Attractive Bridge”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2013

The Ha'penny Bridge is an attractive pedestrian bridge over the Liffey. It was built to replace a ferry crossing, and the Ha'penny was the toll the bridge owner was allowed to charge in lieu of him loosing his ferry. Due to the number of people using it, the council carried out a safety inspection and renovation in 2001.

“Little bridge walk”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

This bridge is centrally located meaning it has great views along the river. It has the love locks on it - who couldn't enjoy a stroll across it!

“Lovely view”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

Lovely footbridge across towards Temple Bar. Walked across this so many times whilst i was in Dublin (19-24th Jan 2013). There are always beggars on this bridge and on my of the other bridges crossing this river but it gave lovely views of the city from both sides.
