“We're all going to the zoo - how about you?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2012

Dublin Zoo is one of the best zoos in Europe. You can see the various animals in lovely surroundings and the staff there really look after them. At no time did it appear that these animals were stressed out. Make sure you plan at least half a day to see everything - it's well worth it.

“Great way to kill a few hours”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2012

Smaller zoo, but well laid out. Figure 8 style, so you could see all the animals. Bit of a pain for location and parking, but parking is free in the park. Good selection of animals, and some interesting history about the zoo

“Great day out”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2012

I took a trip to Dublin Zoo alone, having a day to myself and a recommendation from a friend. I wandered around in absolute peace, there were plenty of other visitors, including a 60 child school trip, but at no point did the place feel crowded or busy. I got to see some amazing animals really close up, including a beautiful snow leopard. It was a great couple of hours, and looked like a lot of fun for families too.

“Brilliant!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2012

This a great day out for adults or children! It's not too over-priced! There are lots of different animals and they seem to be cared for very well! The grounds are well kept and it is easy to get around!

“A great day out”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2012

It can be quite expensive to pay for a family but if you go early you get a full day out of it so its definitely worth it. We generally bring a picnic as the food isn't up to much and the picnic areas are lovely. Bring comfy shoes as there will be a lot of walking.
