“Great Hotel :)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2013

Excellent hotel had a great stay from start to finish of visit. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was excellent, very clean and bed was comfortable. Never ate at hotel restaurants but did have a drink at the bar and staff were very friendly. We also received a free drinks voucher to be used in bar as well as complimentary water for the room which was a excellent touch.
Hotel is approx 10-15 minutes walk to city centre but the Luas tram line is right outside of hotel and is only two stops away from St Stephens Green and costs €1.60.

Plan on visiting Dublin again in October and wouldn't stay anywhere else except The Hilton, Dublin.

The hotel was nice, but the location was kind of scary. When our tour coach pulled up in front of the hotel, we were a little concerned because of the neighborhood. But security was good, you needed a room key to be able to access the elevators.

just back from a one nite stay with my mum. excellent hotel from start to finish of visit. Lisa on front reception was so friendly and helpful along with the other front line staff. room was excellent really clean and very comfy bed. Bar staff were very friendly and food in bar was excellent really enjoyed our meal and nothing was a problem even when mum asked for something that was not on menu there was no hesitation at all and she got exactly wot she wanted. Although a little from the centre the luas line is right outside of hotel and two stops away from St Stephens Green a great we shopping area beside grafton street. Really cant wait until my next visit to Dublin and wouldnt say anywhere else now that i have found this excellent hotel. Thanks to everyone for a wonderful stay and special thanks to Lisa.

Good hotel but a little below what you would expect from a Hilton. Even on the Club Level the rooms are average. Modern décor but the bed is just ok for comfort and the reading chair is very artsy but not really comfortable for reading. Otherwise the room is well equipped with all the amenities you would expect. Located on the canal in a quiet area it is about a 15 minute walk to St Stephen's Green. The light rail stop is right next to the hotel and it only takes about 2 minutes to get to St Stephen's Green using the train. Fare is 1.60 euros. The canal is a great place to walk, jog, or bike. The best feature of the hotel is the people who work there. Every one of them I encountered was friendly and competent. The location is a little outside the main downtown area which has its pluses and minuses.

Room Tip: This is a quiet area so room location isn't a factor.

Four nights here for a brief city break.
Hotel is situated a little away from the city centre but close (albeit three flights of stairs) to the tramline going to St Stephens Green.
Helpful and friendly front desk service.
Spacious and comfortable rooms although the beds appear a little on the firm side. Very nice towels, robes and bedlinen.
Only oddity about the room is that there are no drawers at all, Those clothes that do not hang up must remain in your suitcase. Good-sized bath and bathroom and very good toiletries.
Excellent breakfast.
Not inexpensive but in an expensive city seems good value for money.
Serious consideration recommended.

Good location friendly efficient staff and top class breakfast. OK prices not exactly cheap however we stayed at a slightly cheaper hotel prior to this and found you get what you pay for. My advice pay the bit extra and enjoy your stay I will be shortly be visiting Dublin again and wil be booking this hotel.

Room Tip: Go Queen or King deluxe or above if you can afford to.

Room service food very generous

Room well appointed for price

As gold member received free wifi which used if you persevere however drops on a minute by minute basis!

Slightly disappointed as a first time stay and as gold member (almost diamond member) that I was given first floor internal room with no external view!

Staff very courteous

Gym adequate but limited for serious trainers
