We arrived at the hostel late, and the staff helped us quickly get ourselves sorted and told us about several tour opportunities including a pub crawl and a free walking tour. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the free breakfast was a plus, even if it was just toast and juice. When one of our friends got lost, the staff were supportive and promised to keep an eye out, and the last night, when we had not booked rooms, we were allowed to use the kitchen facilities for dinner and nap in the lounge until our cab arrived around three. All in all, we had a great experience with this hostel and would definitely go again if we went back to Dublin.

Hostel is generally OK if you don't expect luxury. Dorms are very big, the beds are comfortable. Great location! Sadly, there was no lockers. There is only one bathroom per floor, with two showers - expect queues in the evening! The breakfast is small but tasty. It was pretty noisy in the hostel on the saturday night, but hey - it's not hostel's fault...

First contact with Reception staff excellent. Helpful above and beyond duties (offering to get me his own iron if I needed). The Apartment I rented was period in style, gorgeous. Fits in lovely with the neighbourhood. As the road outside is not a through road - It's very quiet all day & night. The apartment came with everything a traveller needs and more (TV & WifI, etc). I was able to relax as if I was at home for a reasonable last minute price that beat any hotel in the area. The night I stayed, the girls in the apartment above me where singing alot but that is too be expected in Inner City accommodation, noise in some form. It did not detract from the room or service. I would stay here again.

The buildins is very nice, as well as the common room downstairs. The room we booked was a double ensuite. It was absolutely spartan: one bed, one chair. Nothing else, not even a picture on the wall. The bathroom was also extremely small and spartan, with horrible green tiles.
If it's just for sleeping it's ok, really no frills. The bed was comfortable.
The breakfast is not very big, just one drink (milk, coffee or juice) and one bread with butter and jam.
Nice position, close to the center.
