Excellent location, just off of O'Connell street. Bus stop for the Tour Buses almost right outside hotel (which we would recommend getting). 10/15 minute walk to Temple Bar and Grafton Street. Quiet as well, didn't hear noise whatsoever from outside.
Rooms nice and clean, although very small. We paid extra for an 'Executive Room' although we failed to see what was 'Executive' about it. We asked reception and was told that we had one of the biggest rooms in the hotel! If that the case I'd hate to see the smallest!
The service wasn't very impressive either. The service in the restaurant was very poor, dinner took 45 minutes to arrive (they forgot about us apparently!) and the staff kept walking around with their heads down, you had to literally shout for assistance. I also had to ask for bill three times! The dinner at the time was ok, but after sampling some of the food in the restaurants in Temple Bar, we decided it was pants! The breakfast in the morning is ok but again the staff seemed to be struggling to cope. The staff at reception were ok but when we asked about room service they tried there hardest dissuade us from using it!
Anyway, we only booked this hotel on price and location so can't complain too much, we was just dissapointed with a few things, espescially as all the other Best Westerns we've stayed in were superb (Barcelona, Baden, Amsterdam).
