Hotel is in a brilliant location, only two minutes away from the bus stop and after you walk inside, you enter a nice, warm and welcoming reception, with a wiew inside a traditional looking bar. The reception smelled a bit like a lip gloss (or was it the receptionist???). We signed in, got our keys (one for each of us) and went to our room. We found a big sign saying "this is a non-smoking room" on the door, but there was an ashtray inside. We were little confused, so we called the reception and were told not to smoke, as the fire alarm is actually working. lol ! We asked if we can get a smoking room, went down to reception, got a new keys... all sorted out nicely, fast and with no problems. The new room was a bit smaller, but nice and clean. We watched a tv for a while and than went for a pub crawl. Thats when the location was handy again, as it is close to all the main and famous pubs and clubs, as well as you find many smaller and cosy local hang-outs. After our return, we were allowed to take a pint to our room and drink it in peace (and with a cigarette) as the hotel bar was crowded. We had a brilliant time, great experience and a wonderfull nights sleep.
