We had two nights at this beautiful hotel, located not too far out of Dublin, in stunning garden surroundings. The staff are charming, especially Saidi from Lithuania, who made our stay quite memorable. The hotel had a problem with its water supply for a few hours, but they rectified it and acknowledged the concerns of guests with empathy and sympathy. Roopesh, on the Front Desk, was professional and helpful. The restaurant downstairs was great, and served the best version of an insalata caprese I ever tasted. Equally good was The Orangery, which served excellent bar food and a stunning setting. Brill!

Room Tip: Our room was a little too close to the air conditioning unit, which creates a bit of a hum. Spacious...

I honestly usually don’t write reviews but I feel I have to bring up my stay in the hotel on Saturday 5th July. It’s not even so much the hotel but the actions of certain staff.

I stayed only the one night but our party had booked 12 rooms in the hotel for that evening as my brother was getting married that day nearby, and some of the party stayed for a week or more in the hotel as they had travelled from the US and made it an extended holiday.
The night staff, in particular the night manager Thomas was rude and just plain snide to our group when we tried to order some drinks in the resident’s bar after we returned from the wedding around 2am. It wasn't as if we were a rowdy group, I was the youngest at 32 and it included my mother and aunts in their 60s!
I understand staff can have a bad day but the manager Thomas was plain rude to myself, my mother and sister when we asked about getting drinks for us and our other family who were staying there. They served us one drink and then refused anymore stating the bar was closed. It’s not as if we were going to stay up drinking till morning, we just wanted to be served as guests should be.
It was the one blemish on what was a fantastic day and evening for the wedding. Being a local having grown up in Ballsbridge I was really really disappointed and was a really terrible way to end such a lovely day.

went here with a friend and it was a crisp December night and the frost over the gardens was spectacular against the wonderful chandelier inside. This hotel has a reserved elegance; the staff super helpful and friendly. The meal was downstairs in what was the old pantry when this was a fine stately home and you get a sense of times gone by....the food was state of the art though! There's a good taxi service if you need it and a frequent bus service on the Stillorgan Road stops nearby. I drove and parking is readily available.

The Raddisson Blu St.Helen's Dublin is just excellent. The grounds are beautiful and there is lots of place to park. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were the best I have met in a long time. Nothing was too much trouble they could not help us enough as we were a group of about fifty people.
Two outstanding members of staff were sisters Mary and Eileen they are a wonderful asset to this beautiful hotel

Been staying here since 2008 on a permanent basis, I tend to go to the area at least twice a year and since I found this place I didn't bother looking any further.
Property is elegant, staff is superfriendly, easy parking access and it's nice and quiet, perfect for doing business and you want some quiet time after duty.
Only downside is that it's a bit outside town but there are regular bus shuttles and taxi fare is max 20 euro one way. If you don't mind staying a bit outside this is a highly recommended piece of serenity :-) In addition, you get value for the money!
