“Fab stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2013

Had a fabulous weekend here for my hubbys 40th, got a free upgrade to a suite which was pure luxury. The breakfast was the best I have ever had in a hotel. Great location just 10 mins from both Dundrum and the city centre and a bus stop right at the entrance to hotel. Thankyou for a fab stay!

This was out 3rd time to stay in this lovely hotel. Once again the staff really went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

We had dinner in the hotel's Talavera restaurant. Suzana looked after us so well, and ensured that we had a very enjoyable evening. The food was delicious & beautifully presented.

Breakfast did not disappoint either, and this time it was Mary who looked after us. She had a lovely, warm manner & seemed to really care about the customers.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommmend a stay in the the Radisson. It's a peaceful haven in a great location. Make sure you also take the time to stroll around the lovely grounds before you leave!

My girlfriend and I have stayed here twice in the last few months and we are booked in again for next month. It is a fabulous hotel with magnificent gardens. Both times we stayed here we stayed in one of the luxurious balcony suites overlooking the perfectly manicured gardens. The Italian restaurant has award winning food and the breakfast is the best I've ever had. We have had the pleasure of dealing with general manager Neil Lane and he couldn't do enough for us. It is no wonder the hotel has such a great reputation with people like Neil behind it. In my opinion the best hotel in Ireland.

Stayed one night for business and this hotel was lovely. The room was a little small and was downstairs so didn't have a great view so is advise going for something higher but I checked in at 10pm and needed to leave by 7am so I wasn't ever going to see out the window anyway!

The bar was nice but stick to menu drinks (ordered a mojito and the barman was very obliging but it took him 15 minutes!)

The food was good both at the bar and at breakfast and everyone was so nice and things were well organized

We are a Dublin based agent called Kelly Tourguides / LCK tours and the Radisson St.Helen's hotel is where we usually accommodate our incentive clients. This is the best hotel in Dublin for incentive tours. Personally, I can add that this is a pleasure to deal with the hotel: the staff is very professional, efficient and friendly, the food is excellent and the rooms are nice. A big thank you from us and our customers. Natasha Sharova Kelly Tourguides ltd PS Unfortunately, the clients never have time to use the swiming pool and the spa.

I recently attended a buffet meal there which was held after a funeral. The food was excellent, function room cosy, staff very attentive and welcoming which was very nice after a sad event - in particular a lady called Eileen did everything she could to ensure everyones needs were met.

Whist looking for a Dublin based hotel for a special family occasion I can across the Radisson Blu St Helen's. It seemed to tick all the boxes for our requirements for our 3 day stay. quiet relaxing setting, free parking, easy transport links to Dublin, easy access to tourist sites in Wicklow. I fully agree with previous reviews when they say the hotel was great value for money, so much so that we upgraded to a room overlooking the gardens. In my business life i use many hotels I believe it's a good indicator when you receive personal attention in your correspondence before you arrive as was the case when booking and making special requests. Booking in was simple and straightforward, this despite the fact that the staff were handling guests who had flight cancellations due to weather conditions. Our room was as described which is always pleasing, spacious, good décor and good sized bathroom. We had our 1st evening meal in the hotel which was a lovely setting, good menu selection. food was excellent as were the morning breakfasts. Again the personal attention of the staff was something that stood out during our visit. day 2 was spent in Wicklow, day 3 was spent in Dublin with suggestions from staff regarding sites and travel which were spot on each time, it's always good when information current. all in all we had a great stay and have already booked to return.

Room Tip: always worth asking for a garden view
