“Late Night, Last Minute, Difficult parking, No problem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 6, 2013

Drive a large Van and had the option of sleeping in the van or a few hours in bed before the Ferry in the morning, I had work do so I opted for the comfort of Jurys INN.

Booked in with the least amount of fuss, they even let me park my large vehicle in the staff carpark, I arrive at booked the room at 2330 pm and I left at 0715 the following day refreshed and up to date with work.

Great staff, nice location and easy to recommend, Jurys Inn is practical and well priced.

Jury's inn is well located near the Financial Services Centre and close to the centre of Dublin. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The rooms are a bit on the tight side but acceptable. Corridors have a low ceiling and are narrow -feels a bit claustrophobic. The main issue is with sleep quality - which is the key issue in any hotel. The beds are average in this regard. Unfortunate we experienced loud clanging from heating system from 615AM in early morning and after11.00PM at night when we were trying to sleep. The result was a disturbed sleep. We mentioned it in the morning to the very pleasant receptionist but she quickly changed the subject leading us to suspect this was not the first time the issue had been raised and there was no solution available. Price was fine but there are a number of extras: if driving parking in an adjacent car park costs €14.50 and although this is a reduced rate combined with a €10.00 charge for 24-hour WiFi costs quickly mount up. The parking charge may be understandable - the WiFi charge less so since many , if not most, Irish hotels now provide this free of charge. The buffet breakfast was the standard offering in Irish hotels and fine without being special.

Overall this is not a bad hotel just there are better options in Dublin. If the problem we had with the clanking heating in the room is replicated in other rooms then that is likely to be a big problem for many people an, regrettably we felt, would be a reason to avoid.

Room Tip: Ask for a room where the heating does not make noise. Avoid if this can not be guaranteed.

Located in the perfect location, its easy to see why lots of people stay here. Near the main bus route , but also the staff are excellent. Clean hotel, with lots of nice furnishings too. Its perfect for eating at too, quite a stylish restaurant there too. Would return in the future.

Stayed here for two nights for the avenged sevenfold gig at the O2, the rooms were a very high standard. Breakfast was €10.50 which had a good and varied selection of food and drinks. Wifi is free you just have to get a code from reception.

This hotel is directly on route for the number 747 bus from the airport, so that was straight forward and only ten euro return. Being a short walk from the centre means that it is quieter as there is very little traffic first thing in the morning so no waking up to the sound of cars and buses.
The staff are very pleasant and helpful when needed and if, like us, you decide to have breakfast elsewhere, so that you are on the go, there are loads of pubs which make the full Irish. The Temple Bar is across the first bridge and I would definitely stay here when we come back to Dublin.

I've stayed here before and was very happy with everything hence my return. Standards, if anything, have improved and they have revamped the restaurant and it is now more welcoming. Food was really nice and very reasonably priced as well. Very handy for the O2 and Shopping. For those who prefer public transport it is also close to Busarus and the Railway station. There is also public Car Parking at the rear of the hotel at 14.50 euro for 24 hours. There is also a special overnight rate of around 10 euros.

This was my seventh visit here so that in itself is a recommendation!

Stayed there while on business at the weekend. Check in was fast and very smooth, got to my room and was more than happy with the great view from my room. Had a little problem where the cistern in the bathroom kept filling all night long which was quite loud. I informed reception in the morning and they changed me to a different room and gave me a discount on Friday night. Couldn't do much fairer than that. Breakfast was great. all very tasty and again the staff were friendly and helpful. They all seemed to enjoy working there which is always nice to see. So close to the city center ( we slow walked in 10min). Luas runs at the back of the hotel which was also handy. Good value and i will be staying there again.

Room Tip: ask for an upper floor room to the frount for a great view of the docks and the Jeannie Johnson Tal...
