I stayed in the gresham for 1 night recently. First of all when I arrived to my room, it was clear to see the floor had not been hoovered. Then plugging in my phone charger, the sockets started buzzing and crackling and nothing worked. We went out for the evening and arrived back to the hotel around 10.30 and sat in the bar for a while and was eventually asked to move to the lobby/residents bar. After a while a barman came asking very rudely for our room number to which we replied we would give it to a female member of staff or a manager. To which he refused to get any of those. He stood arguing with us infront of other residents at the hotel. Then going to out room later we were followed by a man, whom we can only assume worked there. He stood behind a corner we turned peeping out at us as we went to our room. I spoke to him and told him I would be making a complaint in the morning. Needless to say we slept with a chair against our door that night. On informing staff in the morning we were given a customer comments form to fill out. Haven't heard any apology from the hotel! This hotel is very poorly run and staff members seem to think it is their right to treat paying guests as they please. This is NOT a 4* hotel! Do not stay here.
