This was my 1st time to Dublin. I am Hilton Honors & when doing my research found this hotel met my needs. (I used points & cash for the room, which was a very good deal.)
While the hotel may not look like much from the outside, I found the inside nice. From when I walked into the door until I left, I was treated with luxury.
I was upgraded to a Junior Suite. A short time after my arrival, strawberries dipped in chocolate were delivered to my room with water. I was tired from traveling so I ordered room service my 1st night. While expensive, it was delivered in style.
My room was large, clean & what one would expect from a Conrad Hotel. The bathroom was luxurious - large fluffy towels, robes & slippers. The only service that hotel did not do was put a chocolate on my pillow at night.
Breakfast was the average European breakfast. My room included the breakfast buffet.
The hotel was a short distance from most sights - St Stephens Green, Grafton Street, Trinity College, etc.
I found I was glad for the location, which was about 15 - 20 minutes from Temple Bar. Actually, I found I was very, very glad to be away from that area. While many may find TB what they come to town for, I did not. (Temple Bar reminded me of Bourbon Street - Irish but without the beads.)
