“Overall nice place!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2013

We stayed 3 nights here at end of 10 days in Ireland. We were doing the Dublin 1/2 marathon and this location was basically at start/finish line so it could not have been better for that. We were also very pleased that it was so close to the real heart of downtown. St Stephen's Green across the street was awesome to walk through every day. 5-10 minutes to Grafton Street shopping & Hop On/Off bus stop. Another 5-10 to Temple Bar & all the restaurants/pubs you can imagine. Very clean hotel. Very Americanized business type hotel feel but that was to be expected & it was nice to have all the amenities after a week of varying inns & B&Bs. They were having a bit of a heatwave so honestly som A/C was nice to have. Big breakfast buffet was great. If you are not expecting B&B/small inn exoerience, this place was excellent.

Room Tip: Get a high room as the views were fantastic. We could see the mountains &the Sea from our room.

Hotel was clean and quiet. Good location, especially for families. Food was also excellent and the wait staff made sure we were always taken care of. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel

This hotel is in an excellent location - a very short walk from Grafton Street but in a nice quiet area. The rooms are comfortable and clean with lovely toiletries. Our room had everything we needed including a Nespresso machine and a decent hairdrier. The breakfast was delicious and staff very helpful. Everything you'd expect from a five star hotel and an excellent base from which to explore Dublin.

I stayed here for 3 nights in June. Compared to several other city center hotels the Conrad is a bit soul-less and lacks any distinguishing characteristics. The Deco is a bit 70's. Room was clean, staff were friendly (very few if any were actually Irish). Breakfast buffet was good with classic fried bacon and sausages for those who don't care about cholesterol. Location is very good, both to visit the landmarks and for the city center business district (though not so convenient for the Financial Center). They did manage to annoy me by closing off the lounge for a group that never came.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2013

We stayed here for one night on Sat 10th Aug. Our bedroom was very spacious and so quiet with the one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. We had an espresso machine which was very welcome the following morning and there was an excellent array of toiletries provided. The breakfast was second to none, so much choice and with a menu for extra breakfast options. The staff were very friendly and efficient at breakfast too. The hotel is in a great location not far from shops and restaurants. The only down side was the receptionist at check in insisted that we had not paid for the room in advance which we were certain we had, she put another room charge on our card which we were not happy about. Wen we got to our room we had to ring our credit card company (which is always a long slow process) and get the authorisation code and the date of payment. We then had to go back down to reception with this information and she eventually found that we had paid in advance. This was very inconvenient and not a good start to our much anticipated romantic night away.
