“The pillows oh the pillows!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2013

Excellent hotel and extremely accommodating staff. We were a group of 4 friends on a weekend away, and found the hotel to be really comfortable and the staff very helpful. The beds, bedding and oh the pillows - I will have to find out where they get these from - they are sumptuous. Hotel in a quiet location which was rather nice to get away from the lively town centre. If we come back then I would definitely stay here, well how could I not with those pillows!

4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2013

Stayed here in late January and ,once again, had a very good experience. The room rate of 170 euro is reasonable given the hotels excellent location in central Dublin ( 3 minute walk to St. Stephens Green).
Valet parking is 15 euro and is a real value. I arrived before noon and there was a room ready for me ( a treat after a long trip) . The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The lobby is comfortable and the bar food and tea selection is very good. The décor is modern and not typical of a Conrad ( I prefer the traditional look of most other locations) , but very nice. The rooms are adequate, but far from large. The only negative I experienced was that I had asked twice for the room to be refreshed ( I needed towels), but for some reason both requests were ignored. Other than that it was good experience.

Stayed one night recently on business.
The hotel is situated in the centre of Dublin and is therefore very convenient. The concierge parked the car during check-in and check-in was quick, friendly and efficient.
The public areas are very pleasant - modern and with enough people about to create a "bit of a buzz" but not feel overcrowded.
The bedrooms are very well finished with flat screen TV, iPod dock and nespresso machine. Everything was spotlessly clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was beautiful with lots of choice and served in a pleasant restaurant.
I would recommend without hesitation.

My partner and I stayed here in late December. We arrived by car from Cork. The hotel was easy to find and is well located opposite the National Concert Hall and close to St Stephen's green. We were greeted by Gary the cheery concierge who also doubled as porter. Gary was very helpful with explaining the in room intricacies such as A/C, TV and light switches etc... He also was able to recommend a great eatery (Hugos) as well as tour information, he is a great asset to this place. The room and hotel public areas are both very fresh and modern. We had a very comfy king size bed with great bed linen and pillows. The room had a Nespresso coffee machine and good selection of teas and biscuits. The minibar was well stocked with a more than comprehensive selection of beverages on offer. The bathroom was a triumph, a wide and commodious bath/shower combo, luxurious toiletries and big fluffy bath linen to boot. We had room service dinner on our second night and found both the service and food offerings fantastic and creative. The hotel has a bar just off the lobby and we found the service and bar offerings 5 star. There is much to like about the Conrad Dublin its fresh, modern, clean and well located to take in all that Dublin has to offer.I gave this hotel a 4 star rating but it is in my opinion 4.5 star unfortunately tripadvisor don't offer the half star option. Well done Conrad Dublin and thanks for the memories.

Hi
This is my first time in this hotel and may I say it wont be my last. We arrived on Friday afternoon to a very warm welcome from all the staff we met. We upgraded our room at very little cost, the room was fab very clean with everything you would need. The bar area is very comfortable and has wifi. We had a very comfortable night sleep and breakfast was very nice [the staff are very helpful and food is very good]. The hotel is in a great location and close to Graften Street. I would recommend this hotel to all.

I stayed here between the 22nd and 28th December at a rate of circa Euro 160 a night for bed and breakfast. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast buffet was generous in terms of choice and very tasty. Though I was not around to partake in their Christmas festivities (given that I was joining my family in Dublin), there was a good atmosphere in the hotel over the festive season. The only downer was renovations to the hotel kitchen which commenced with some heavy vibrations on the 27th of December. However, one of the receptionists sent a complimentary bottle of wine up to my room to help sedate me against the waves of sound. It was very much appreciated and - as if by magic - the noise subsided soon afterwards.

The hotel is about 7 to 8 minutes walk away (across the Elysian fields of St. Stephen's Green) from Grafton Street (the main shopping street). And round the corner from the Iveagh Gardens, a great place in which to relax. It is also only a brief trek away from many of the museums and art galleries of the capital city.

There is a very pleasant coffee bar in the reception area which serves a mean (in the positive sense of the word) Irish coffee and club sandwich. Also the business centre (unlike some of its equivalents in other Dublin hotels) is comfortable and private, a great place to go if you want to get through some serious work intensely over a short space of time.

I was vacillating between awarding this hotel four or five stars. But in the end, given that it represented great value for money and the fact that the staff are all so "sympatico" to their guests, I think it merits a rating of "excellent".

This is a very nice hotel.
A well maintained property.

What I was most impressed about this hotel was the service and attention I got from all hotel staff members.

The lobby area is large and comfortable with WiFi available (I got a strong signal) and plenty of comfortable seating available

I ate at the restaurant for breakfast. A Continental breakfast buffet is available as was a made to order “Irish breakfast”.

My room was large with a nice view. I especially liked the fact that I could open the windows a bit and allow fresh air into my room.
A large desk and two small desk of drawers were also in the room.
WiFi (weak to decent signal) was available in the room but no wired Internet access
The King sized bed had what I would describe a new and firm mattress. The bed covers were high quality.
The bathroom was large with nice linen and toiletries available.

Both the exercise facility and business center were large and well equipped

The hotel location is not in the city center as I would define it but was within a close walking distance from Dawson and Grafton streets. The hotel itself is located very near St. Stephen's Green and to reach Dawson and Grafton streets requires a short walk through this lovely park during the day or a 10 minute walk around the park during the evening.
Once reaching Grafton street it is about a 15 minute walk to Trinity College and Temple Bar Street.
