“great location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2013

really enjoyed our stay in the Morgan hotel, very clean rooms and located right in the heart of Dublin, the bar itself in the hotel was one of the best around , great music and great atmosphere in the place ,you will not be disappointed.... only fault ...small bit on the expensive side but wouldn't let that stop you

Room Tip: higher floors are probably a little quieter

The Morgan is located in the heart of Dublin 2. A stone throw from the temple bar (partying) street. Cozy room ....... with a stylish bar within the hotel. Would not hesitate to stay there if I'm in dublin. The ladies at the receptions where also very forthcoming with suggestions !

Room Tip: try to get a room that is not facing the main street

This is great hotel, located in Temple bar which comes alive at night. We arrived late on Monday 17th June for my partner's birthday by taxi which the hotel had kindly arranged for us. Upon arrival, the lady behind the reception desk was extremely friendly, happily upgraded the room (due to the special occasion) & was happy to give us maps & great advice about Dublin. The room was extremely spacious, could have easy fit 4 people in the room. There were complimentary toiletries, slippers, mini-bar, a wi-fi enabled smart tv which you could browse the internet on. The rooms were relatively clean, but could use with a fresh lick of paint. The beds were extremely comfortable. The location was good, close to all the bars/restaurants in temple bar (practically on your doorstep), 10 mins walk from the shopping area/restaurants and around 20 mins walk to the Jameson distillery. Overall it was a great stay & hope to go back there someday :-)

Lovely hotel, very nice and welcoming girl at reception. Room was smallish but really nice and stylish. Full Irish breakfast was awesome, one of the best I've ever had in any hotel. Excellent location, very central and very close to shops, bars and restaurants.

Location was ideal, hotel was very quirky and the rooms were really well designed. I loved how different it was. Staff were very friendly. The bed was amazing - I nearly considered asking them what type of mattress it was, as I had a great night sleep!
Room service & Breakfast Buffet were also quite tasty.
Will definitely be returning there when I'm back in Dublin.

My wife and I have stayed here 5 times. We have always enjoyed it. Lovely staff great cocktails and great bar.The only downside was that the chefs deep fry the potato bread making it full of grease can't understand why because the rest if breakfast was nice.

My husband and I had the pleasure of spending two nights at the Morgan and enjoyed the location, great room and excellent breakfast. If you are a light sleeper the Temple Bar area may not be the place for you. Would highly recommend the hotel and would return on our next trip to Dublin.
